"Roman style short sword"
It is worth the money, at least to me it is. It's basically a double-edged machete but it's got the cool shape of a Roman gladiator sword so as I'm going through the bushes I can fantasize I'm a Roman Centurion scouting out the route for my Legion as I'm hacking through the stickers... it came sharp out of the box, I can't tell where it was made I think maybe China but who knows ... however the quality is there, the grip is solid ...the sheath is fine, cheap carbon steel it will Rust but it will also hold an edge ...nothing fancy but it works, it's got a giant belt loop. I have a full size samurai sword I used as a door answerer however it's a bit much... I think this little sword is a very effective alternative and it's actually a lot more handy should someone ever try to push their way through my door... I keep it by my bed. It is double edge so it's not something you want to keep in your vehicle in the city, you could be arrested for that where I live.... simple, effective, Home Defense and a good machete.

I had an issue on a possible double payment pending in my account for a recent purchase. During the chat the associate advised me to send a screenshot of my statement showing the double deduction. There was no account numbers present but my name and the name of the institution were there as well the last 3 transactions. The email they told me to send it to ended up having the wrong extension! This is what is called a secuirty breach. The email never came back as a failed email meaning someone ended up with that screen shot without my authorization. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they gave me the contact information for their manager who I called 2x and sent 1 email to follow up with a breach in my personal security at the hands of their employee. I never got 1 follow up from them. Needless to say they lost a customer. Sharing this to share how they apparently feel about their customers' legitimate concerns.

"Budk Fail - Defective Item - refund like pulling teeth"
I had a bad experience recently. I purchased a battery powered portable chainsaw for about 163 bucks. It broke literally after cutting 2 small branches. Very sad. So I contacted Budk and asked for an RMA and a refund. The lady that responded emailed me to explain how it was broken. So I emailed her and told her. She never read my email. Instead she emailed me saying that I had not responded and closed my request. But I did respond, Twice. Anyways, so I emailed Budk again, explained what happened and asked again for an RMA and a refund. The second lady agreed and said I would receive an email with the RMA in 2 days. 3 days later I have still not received the RMA or a refund. I did get an email from Budk asking me how the support experience with the first lady went. I explained it went badly. Then that first lady emails me and says, we require that customers tell us what is wrong with an item before we allow a refund. Ha, I was so pissed. I emailed her three times. And it's like either the email just goes into a black hole at Budk or this lady is so untrained that she cant read an email. I am giving Budk until Monday to issue the RMA or I am just going to do a charge back with the bank. This is ridiculous. I have been a customer of budk for years and this has never happened before. Well I am a customer no longer. not if this type of crap happens when they sell a defective product. I am very disappointed in Budk and can no longer recommend the company.

I had issues with funds on my first order for the Fire and Ice swords.
I contacted customer service and they worked with me to keep the order alive for 24hrs so I can get the money. I placed the order and totally amazed at the swords, awesome.
Just have one issue, during shipping both swords had damage to the tips. I can understand that and since I am very good with swords and knives. I redone the tips very gently and now are as sharp as needles. Both swords have christened themselves with my blood. Just to see if I got it right, stood each of them up on their own weight to see if they will draw blood. YES they will!
