"Langtang Trek"
At the end of 2022 my two brothers, sister-in-law, and wife discussed doing a trek in Nepal as we wanted to experience the majestic Himalayas. Later a friend of my brother's joined our group for this trek. We are not young, ranging in age from 57 to 62, so we decided to trek Langtang as it is the easier of the treks.
I researched for the best ways of doing this trek and various trekking companies, when I came across Nepal Trek Hub and started the conversation with Sreeram he came across as honest, contentious, and caring. We book this trip with him and eventually travelled to Nepal, part of our group from USA and South Africa arriving on three different flights. Sreeram picked us from the airport took us to our hotel in Thamel and took us to the various trekking stores to purchase our remaining trekking gear.
On the third day we travelled to Sybrubesi the starting point of the trek. The hotel here was very good as Sreeram told us the guest houses outside of the Langtang National Park were going to be 5 star and the ones inside the park were 0 stars but well maintained.
The first day of the trek was very difficult for our group so much so that we had to stay in Bamboo instead of our target of Lama Hotel, Sreeram was very perceptive and directed the porters to keep us with us as some of our group needed extra help. Sreeram actually ended up carrying the backpacks of two people in addition to his huge backpack. After the first day we really started to question if we would be able to make it all the way to Kyanjin Gompa but Sreeram was incredible in motivating and assisting everyone. The second day got a little easier as we trekked to Riverside, Woodland guest house, were the hosts were very welcoming and extremely hospitable. The third day got more easier to our stop in Mundu, and on the fourth day we reached Kyanjin Gompa. The views were incredible during the entire trek but were truly amazing in Kyanjin Gompa and from the top of Kyanjin Ri. One of our group members sprained his ankle in Kyanjin Gompa and Sreeram consulted with us and arranged for a helicopter rescue. The weather in the mountains change rapidly and Sreeram was very concerned that the helicopter would not be able to come, but eventually everything worked out.
Since we ended up getting back a day early Sreeram got us a hotel for the extra day and even gave us a tour of all the key highlights in Kathmandu. He also invited us to his home for dinner and a wonderful visit with his family.
This was an incredible hike and amazing experience with Nepal Trek Hub and Sreeram. We will most definitely use him for our next trek in Nepal, I don't think that you can get better service.
The team comprised of: Sreeram (guide), and porters Ram, Bijay, and Suresh.

"ABC Trek"
Did the Annapurna Basecamp Trek in March 2019 with Shreeram, I can honestly recommend him. He is a very kind and professional guide. Perfect knowledge about people, culture and places, also a very good spoken English. Will trek with him again in 2021. 5/5!

"My first wonderful nepal tour and hike"
My first visit to Nepal was necessarily short. Fortunately, I connected with Ram at Nepal Trek Hub, who did a superb job in helping me make the most of my time. Straight from an airport pick-up Ram assured me that I was in good hands. He smoothly guided me through the diverse cultural aspects of Kathmandu's Hindu and Buddhist colorful sacred sites. His knowledge of the rituals and historical characteristics was both extensive and tailored to my understanding. The itinerary was well organized and paced accordingly to my interests. We got up close and personal to the pulse of the culture without crossing lines inappropriately. I especially appreciated Ram's photography skill and willingness to later transfer pictures he took on my behalf.
Ram has established a cordial working relationship with the drivers employed to navigate effectively through the dicey roads and chaotic traffic. He remains vigilant in addressing my safety and comfort, yet respects my independence and fitness. Our hiking experience was geared expertly to the challenge I desired, and again documented remarkably well. Ram's personal fitness is top notch, but tuned without pressure to make his client's experience the focus. I definitely plan to return for a more extensive trekking experience in the future and have every confidence that Ram's guidance will provide all I can hope for! If you happen to be as lucky as I was, you may be able to meet his lovely, spirited wife as well!

"Perfect Trip"

"Annapurna Circuit Trek 2019!!"
Just returned from the Annapurna Circuit trek with a group of friends, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing! It would not have been possible without our awesome tour guide, Shreeram of Nepal Trek Hub, and our two strong porters (who happen to look like Korean twins btw), Dev and Surendra.
Personally, I like to engage a local guide when trekking especially in unfamiliar places (this was our group’s first time in Nepal as well as doing such a long trek!), because I’d like to think that the local guides know the ins and outs of the trail better; making sure safety is the utmost priority while not compromising on the view and experience.
Fortunately for us, Shreeram did exactly what we expected of him and far more.
Throughout the 12 days Shreeram always made us feel safe, was observant, caring, and sensitive to our needs. He would advise us on the Do’s and Don’ts throughout the trek, and I am grateful that none of us ran into any major issues under his care and guidance (whether general wellbeing/safety/comfort). He is also extremely knowledgeable about the Himalayas and the surrounding region, as he patiently answered all our questions and always kept us entertained with little nuggets of information. An added bonus to this all was Shreeram’s unique sense of humour which created a lighthearted vibe within our group, always making us chuckle away.
Not forgetting our porters Dev and Surendra who also did an amazing job, each of them carrying >20kgs over their shoulders every day (with a strap across their forehead to support the load :O ) , never once complaining, and always early to arrive at our destination to secure the best rooms possible for us.
All-in-all, we are extremely grateful to have had Shreeram, Dev and Surendra as part of our trip. While all the above may seem like “small” things, trust us when we say – it makes all the difference and is definitely what separates just “normal” from “GREAT”.
Highly recommended!

Epic Hiking Trails - Annapurna Circuit 15 Days
Nepal Trek Hub has done a wonderful job in making our hiking trip a success!
Shreeram was assigned to us as our guide and we were so lucky to have him. We were well taken care of throughout the trek. Shreeram was always checking up on us and making sure we were doing ok. He was attentive to our needs and always willing to accomodate us. He was knowledgable about the country’s background. He was observant and quick to solve our minor issues along the way , i,e my shoes were almost broken on Day 1 ( i din’t even notice) but he noticed it and immediately super glued it during lunch and now my shoes are stronger than before! Most importantly, we felt safe and comforted throughout the trek.
Credits to the entire team including our 2 strong and fast porters Dev & Surendra for bringing us across Thorong La Pass and back down to Kathmandu safely with our bags. I am very happy with the team’s services.Itinerary was well organized and flexible according to our pace. Guide / porters were super chilled and fun people to hang with! We had so much fun together ! This trip was filled with wonderful scenery and epic trails because we had experienced and capable people to guide and advise us along the way. Ram was always making sure we had enough to eat and always warm enough. We had great company which made our 15 days super fun! there was never a dull moment with our group. Can’t wait to go back to Nepal again!
Thank you All! Love you guys!

"An experience of a lifetime"
A couple of months ago, a group of 5 of us decided to book our two week trip to Nepal, and I must say that it was probably one of the best decisions that I made this year!
We were all new to this as none of us have ever been on a trekking adventure that lasts more than a week (what more two weeks!) and therefore, hoped for a reliable guide and porters we could depend on. Being assigned to Shreeram (hereby referred to as "Ram") as our very own guide (and founder of Nepal Trek Hub), as well as Dev and Surendra as our helpful porters was like a dream come true.
From the very first day meeting Ram, I knew we would be in good hands throughout the journey. He was extremely observant (he would notice the little things from the condition of our shoes to our health), proactive, reliable, trustworthy, kind, and to top it all - funny! We never had to worry about our accommodation or food; he would always go the extra mile by ensuring we get the best possible place to stay, he ensures we are well fed (always asking if we need any refills for our dhal bhat sets!) and checking on us to ensure we are all in a healthy state. He was genuine and often took the time to share his insights with us, giving us good advise and information as went through each and every day - AND he does this with a sense of humour!
I am very grateful for all that Ram, Dev and Surendra have done for us. They have definitely exceeded our expectations and made our trekking trip THAT much more enjoyable. It was unforgettable in so many ways, so much so that we are already talking about making another trip to Nepal in the next few years (hopefully under Ram's guide, with Dev and Surendra around too!). The trio had a commendable attitude - they were very hardworking, positive, and encouraging, which contributed to our success trekking through Thorong La Pass.
The memories formed over the two weeks are undoubtedly here to stay. I will remember all the little things that Ram, Dev and Surendra have done for us - some which include Ram being our personal photographer, taking care of my phone along the way, photobombing our shots, posing for us and with us, trying out random pastries and doughnuts, teaching us Nepali language, bringing us for local food, telling us "who knows!", and etc. It has been truly memorable and I am eternally grateful!
I would definitely recommend Ram (and Nepal Trek Hub) to anyone who wishes to experience trekking in Nepal. I am assured that the team will ensure they provide the best service to you. Thanks once again and I hope that we will cross paths soon!
FANTASTIC JOB, BOYS!

"Annapurna Circuit trek - 15 days package"
One fine day in 2019, a group of 5 of us from the concrete jungle that is Kuala Lumpur got together and decided to take the leap into the unknown - a multi-day trek in the Himalayas. Our chosen route was the well-known Annapurna Circuit, a trail encircling the Annapurna Massif in the Nepal section of the Himalayas.
This being the first time we were undertaking such a trip, we were naturally a little apprehensive and unsure of what to expect. However, we need not have worried at all. The team assigned to the 5 of us comprised of Shreeram (guide and founder of Nepal Trek Hub) as well as Dev and Surendra (charming young brothers who acted as our porters) - and the three of them were the best that we could have dreamed of.
Firstly, on our guide Shreeram or "Ram" - what can I say about him? He was genuine, funny, attentive (without ever being intruding), knowledgeable, and always full of energy. We felt safe and well taken care of throughout our time with him. Our accommodation always seemed the best amongst the pack, and we owe it to Ram and his decision-making as well as contacts. He was full of good advice - from ensuring we ate the right things, to getting us the right sleeping bags (and making sure we used them), and making sure we were always going at the right pace. He seemed very genuinely concerned about the environment and the garbage situation along the trek as well - he insisted that we used the water purification tablets along the trek instead of buying fresh bottles of water daily - and boy was he right, the water tasted just fine with the tablets. We had no major issues with our health during the trek (whether altitude sickness, stomach trouble, fatigue, etc) and we owe it largely to Ram's care. He even saved us from getting run over by a stray horse barrelling down the path in our direction, as he spotted it from a mile away and very quickly warned us to scramble! While he had a handy catchphrase i.e. "who knows?" to cheekily use in response to some of our more mundane questions (and make us laugh), Ram also took plenty of time to answer many of our questions and curiosities. I am perhaps not the easiest person in this regard - I am always full of questions - but he shared plenty of insight and knowledge with me, in topics ranging from politics, business, the tourism industry, the geography of the Himalayas and Nepal, local culture, people, and even his personal life and outlook.
As for Dev and Surendra, they were charming and hardworking young brothers who lugged the bulk of our things daily with a smile on their faces. Beats me how they do it, but each day both of them took 20-25kgs each on their backs and sped off ahead of us (and other trekkers/porters) to the next accommodation for the day, always getting there earlier than the crowd and ensuring we get the best rooms. There were even times where one of them would double back after dropping off our large bags and securing our rooms, just to check on whether any of us required further help with the backpacks that we were carrying. And it came in handy once or twice when Dev actually came to help someone in our group with his backpack on a particularly strenuous incline. Going the extra mile.
So we had a great time, walking for 9 days along the Marshyangdi river valley - all the way from Ngadi, through charming towns (including Chame, Pisang, Manang, Yakkharka), to High Camp @ 4,880m, and finally across the Thorong-La Pass, the highest point on the Annapurna Circuit @ 5,416m. We ended our journey by taking the jeep across 2 days from Muktinath to Pokhara (walking the entire circuit typically takes 16-17 days, which we could not do due to our own time constraints). Ram was with us every step of the way, even coming to meet us on our last day in Kathmandu and arranging for our transport to the airport. Our dinner with Ram, Dev, and Surendra in Pokhara was one of the most enjoyable I've had in a long while, where they took us to have local street fare and beer, and we shared good food, good laughs, and good stories.
They say time passes quickest when you are having fun - and it is a huge compliment to Ram that our 15 days in Nepal flew by in the blink of an eye. By the time we were bound to depart for home, I felt that I had only just met him the day before. I am glad to have met Ram and go on a journey with him and I am already thinking of my next trek with him (ABC? Poon Hill? Who knows?). Hopefully our paths will cross again. I would not hesitate to recommend Ram and Nepal Trek Hub to anyone looking for a great trek in Nepal Himalayas. Well done, boys!

"'Who knows?'"
Coming from a concrete jungle of Malaysia; Nepal was very foreign and scary, as am not sure how much to prepare mentally for the hike.
Ram - our guide, and owner of Nepal Trek Hub, helped me eased into the pace and also helped with the necessary gears for the trip upon arrival. I wasn't sure with getting a sleeping bag, and he went out of his way to help procure it, which came really handy at 4,000+ meters.
Throughout the trip, everything was very smooth - even when I got into some physical issue with my knees, he took his time and constantly making sure I was alright, even running to the next town and get a muscle cream for me (Chame). And despite numerous time I felt like I should quit at 1/4 into the trip (day 3 of 12), he assured me, we will get to and through Thorong La pass (5,416 meters).
And true enough, I got to Thorong La Pass - better yet, I got through it without having to take any anti-AMS meds (i.e Diamox), because Ram says it is not needed, and constantly remind me to keep hydrated, take it slow, and enjoy the nature.
And given how much of a 'Need to know' person I am, and always asking 'How far? How long? When will we get there? How's the accommodation?' - I always get the reply - Who knows?
And that kept the hike a surprise at every corner, and maybe my next trip back for more surprises again. Who knows?
