We had 8 solar panels fitted, after much research. Through recommendations, we chose Solec. Their service didn't disappoint.
They explained the process from start to finish, in layman's terms.

I first got to know Drew and the team via 'word of mouth' in 2013 when they installed my solar panels....great job and I have never had any concerns re generation in ten years since their installation.

In addition, the team also added pigeon deterrent wiring, as well as supporting me with their scaffolding for a separate roofing job. Always reliable, professional and polite. I highly recommend Solecelectricalservice

"Solar Panel & Battery Installation"

Having decided I wanted a solar installation I went to google search and was inundated with companies. I then used solar guide who provided me with a number of reputable companies in my area who fitted solar installations. I received a number of quotes but the installer who stood out at this first contact was Solec electrical. Anthony was professional in his appearance and gave me confidence in the way he went about giving me a quote. My installation was designed around both my current and future situations. Anthony took the time to explain all aspects of the installation and what he thought would be best and why. Solec electrical was the best quote for what I was looking for. The installation was done at a date which suited myself and there was not a long wait unlike some other companies. The electrician visited prior to the install and was very helpful as I didn't want numerous wires on show. My inverter and batteries were placed in the garage as I am lucky enough to have sufficient space in this location. Solec electrical use their own contracted scaffolders who were on site throughout the install. The install was done within 6 hours and no mess was left. The app to monitor the system probably isn't the greatest as there are a number of screens to navigate through to get to the battery status. This I'm sure will be improved over time but has nothing to do with Solec electrical. I have waited 3 months before writing this review so I can comment on everything that the installation has provided. Although I know there will be a reliance on the grid over the winter to date I have been virtually self sufficient in my electric use. I have even received my first export payment from EDF which is a bonus and more than I expected to receive. To summarise in 3 words Solec electrical I found to be reliable, trustworthy and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for solar installations.

In fact, I'm so pleased that I've had another battery installed. I highly recommend their services; you won't be disappointed!

"Solar System Installation"

Solec did a great job with my installation. Panels, batteries and car charger all installed promptly and to a high standard. Very helpful and great on the day.

On top of this they were by far the best quote I got and were very flexible in designing the system as I wanted it.

There have been some minor issues with some settings and troubleshooting, but they have provided great ongoing support with getting the most out of the system.

Great company, would happily use them again!
