" GPX 6000 training with Jim from Aussie Adventurer "
I did some GPX 6000 training with Jim at Aussie Adventurer, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.
My main goal was to learn all the functions on the detector, and Jim really delivered. He took the time to really explain every setting and coil and how to get the best performance in the field for different conditions, which made a huge difference.
On top of that, he showed me how to use tools like the Trilobite app and Google Earth on my Android phone to get a better grasp on how to navigate leases etc, which was a game-changer.
Jim’s professional but easygoing, and he genuinely wants you to succeed. Couldn’t recommend him more!

"This was my first time gold prospecting…"
This was my first time gold prospecting and Jim took me through the operations of GPZ 6000 & GPZ 7000. It was an excellent technical and practical learning experience, and the knowledge Jim has in the field of gold prospecting is second to none. Jim’s has a great sense of humour and made me feel at ease for a first timer. This was one of my best outdoor experiences but a very hot day. I’ll have a crack again in the winter months. Give Jim a call at Aussie Adventurer.

"Jim was a fantastic mentor"
Jim was a fantastic mentor, helped me so much with my GPZ 7000. He explained years worth of knowledge to me in simple terms so they were easy to understand. Definitely will be using his services in the future ☺️

"Get more gold!"
If you want to get more gold – sign up for the Jim’s course!
I have interacted with Jim on multiple occasions and I can say that most of what I know about prospecting in WA I have learned from him. His knowledge of the WA goldfields is outstanding. Combined with many years of field experience this virtually guarantees that he would be on gold every time when he is out detecting. Of course, it goes without saying that Jim knows all the ins and outs of using the 7K detector, as well as the 5K before that. His ability to hear those subtle signals which manifest deep nuggets is almost uncanny. But most important is that Jim does not keep those ‘’secrets’’ to himself. Quite the opposite, he would be eager to share them with you and do this in the most friendly and easy-to-understand manner. Being with him in the field is a very pleasant and rewarding experience, and this is so not only because he is an expert detectorist and a great mentor but also because he is a very good outdoorsman who can fix any problem and basically keep you safe in the bush. I can recommend him most enthusiastically.
