"Kitchen renovation"

We moved into our new house in 2023 and needed a complete kitchen remodel, involving two knockthroughs, two steel beams installed, rewiring and replumbing.

We planned the project well in advance and Tom was patient and communicative from the first meeting to project completion.

As always there were unexpected problems along the way but Lewis, Tom and Jimmy were always able to come up with pragmatic options and creative solutions that meant we didn’t lose too much time overall.

The guys were friendly and professional, punctual and would always consult us on changes needed as the job progressed.

Overall the project took slightly longer and was a little over the original quote but this was due to unexpected issues like replacing all the joists above the kitchen which they could not have predicted beforehand.

We’re are extremely pleased with the new kitchen and would definitely recommend the Winrose team - so much so that we have just started another job with them in creating an en suite for our bedroom and refitting our existing shower room.

26 months and still waiting for work to be complete. Scaffolding been up for the last 6 months and I’ve had to do lots of snagging work and project management myself. It’s been a long painful experience dealing with this company. I have had no choice but to put this review up as cannot see an end insight. PAINFUL AND STRESSFUL. Never again. FINISH OUR JOB!

"Small Kitchen Refurb Project"

Tom and his team recently carried out a home interior refurbishment project for us turning a kitchen into a snug and we are very pleased with the result. The project kept to the budget and finished in the timescale discussed.

His team were friendly, polite and punctual and discussed all aspects of the project with us throughout. It was smooth and painless for us and they were very helpful working round some specific needs we had and have done an excellent job.

We can highly recommend Winrose and would definitely use them again for future projects we have in mind.

"Utility make over"

Tom and his guys refurbishment my old tired looking utility room into a spacious utility/dog room. They guys were always punctual, very pleasant and very hard working.

"Victorian extension"

Tom and team at Winrose completed an extension and internal renovation on our Victorian property over a couple of phases. Quality, details and materials that are sympathetic to the property were key for us. It’s fair to say we are very satisfied with the finished job and particularly benefited with consistency of team delivering.

"Bungalow - remodelling and total refurbishment"

Tom took on the refurbishment and remodelling of our very dated 3 bed bungalow. His quote was competitive and he was happy to show us other work recently completed. The work included the building of a kitchen extension, redesigning and moving internal walls to make better use of the internal space. It also included relandscaping the back and front, with a large tarmac driveway and indian sandstone patio and new retaining wall and steps.

The work was begun at the end of 2019 and was finished in the early Summer of 2020, at a time when the first lockdown made it extremely difficult to get materials and tradesmen onsite. He showed excellent perseverance during this times and while the conditions meant that work was held up, he did whatever he could to ensure that the project moved forward.

The quality of the end result speaks for itself. He added thoughtful additional features and definitely went the extra mile to accommodate our needs and even improve on the spec we had given him.

I would definitely use Tom's services again because you can trust that you are going to get an excellent end product.
