He has a very good understanding of why certain failures occur and how they are connected to the habits I have because of thinking through the lens of my mother tongue. It is evident that he actually has knowledge behind his years of experience on how to guide and comment upon students' learning of both how to teach English and navigate more involved situations that come up in classroom dynamics. He is clear about what a student's strengths are and gives straightforward suggestions in where a student can even further improve, even though I know other teachers / graders might settle for a student's adequacy without adding further insight. It was also appreciated that he would consistently communicate with me of any questions / comments / concerns I had in a timely manner.
