"Suffolks best kept secret"
Suffolks best kept secret, Sprotts Farm. This wonderful farm has been our temporary home since we left our home of over 20 years and look for our new one. If you want a tranquil, rural retreat away from the rat race, then this is the place for you. Alice, the owner has been so accommodating and we would not have wanted to be anywhere else. We have stayed in The Brambles and The Granary and highly recommend it! Clearly Barney, our dog, is in his element, woods, sticks and amazing countryside walks.

"Beautiful countryside stay ..."
Just had a lovely 2 weeks stay at the relaxing and peaceful Sprotts Farm , Grannary cottage, whilst in the area for work.
An ideal place to relax in the evenings, with plenty to do , if the mood should take you, from pleasant walks, the games room, cricket bowling area and the lovely heated outdoor pool set in a lovely open garden.
The host Alice is lovely and welcoming , the cottages are well equipped, very comfy and spacious, set in lovely surroundings.
Definatly be visiting this relaxing place again.

"Great place for families"
Back from a great stay at Sprotts Farm! It was our first little getaway as a family of four with our toddler and 10 week old baby and it did not disappoint. Lovely base to explore the surrounding area. Sprotts farm has a very relaxing atmosphere and the cottages are well equipped, clean, cosy and comfortable. Our son absolutely loved the resident chickens who we visited often. We also enjoyed the games room. The cottage had some kid friendly activities and games included which was a lovely touch. Thank you for a lovely stay!

"Just back from a beautiful weekend…"
Just back from a beautiful weekend staying in the Brambles at Sprotts Farm with our 3 children and 2 dogs. The cottage is lovely, clean and spacious. On arrival we were made very welcome by Alice who told us to make ourselves at home and to relax and enjoy the space. This was helped by the lovely bottle of wine waiting for us and marshmallows and chocolate biscuits for the children to make s’mores on the fire pit - wood, matches toasting forks had all been provided! Little extra touches like home made soaps in the bathrooms and all cleaning equipment were also provided. The farm itself is just beautiful, plenty of space for our 3 boys to explore. The games room was huge - plenty of room and games for all of us to be doing something! The pool was really lovely and we were very lucky to have it to ourselves most of the times we swam. Again the pool was in an area surrounded by lots of open space for games or chilling when not actually swimming! There are a couple of nice bbq areas that we planned to use but we were spoilt by the many lovely places to eat out nearby! Booking Sprotts Farm was seamless, Alice was super responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend Sprotts Farm to anyone but especially those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and unwind! Really enjoyable break with my family - thank you Alice and Sprotts Farm - we will definitely be back

"I was looking for a relaxing getaway to…"
I was looking for a relaxing getaway to recharge my batteries, after a very busy few weeks visiting family here in the UK. Myself and my two young daughters (under 5yrs) stayed at The Granary and had a wonderful few days.
The accommodation was clean, spacious and we felt very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and made family meal times easy. The girls loved the gated outdoor area directly outside The Granary but also enjoyed roaming the beautiful garden, local trails, and the communal games room. Toasting marshmallows over the fire pit was a real hit! (marshmallows and fire wood were kindly provided by our delightful host Alice)
Alice was very welcoming, but never intrusive. She was lovely with the girls and had them feeding the free range chickens, collecting the eggs and playing with the farm dog.
Would absolutely stay again and would highly recommend!

"We had a lovely stay in one of the…"
We had a lovely stay in one of the bungalows at Sprotts Farm at end of February 2022 - a Monday to Friday.
The accommodation, facilities and cleanliness were all faultless.
We enjoyed some walking in the beautiful countryside, visiting the local villages, some with quaint tea shops and Flatford Mill, National Trust venue, a few miles away.
We amused ourselves in the games room one rainy afternoon too.
If you want a home from home in beautiful, peaceful surroundings, this is definitely the place to come.
