Acorns Guesthouse is the best place live when you are in Devon. it has a home like environment, services are the best, prices are very reasonable

The Acorne Guest House is situated very close to the town and beach. The rooms are very clean and well maintained with neutral decor.

They have 8 rooms with a large car park at the rear of the hotel which is a premium at this location.

Although they do arrange to cook evening meals, we did not try this. At breakfast you have a good choice and I have to say that the full English is probably one of the best that I have had, that's even including 4* Star hotels visited.

Jacqui and Iain Lockwood who own the guest house are very friendly and do everthing to ensure that your stay is good. Iain gave us plenty of advise on where to go and beautiful country road trips.

We went in August during the Combe Martin carnival which is well worth going to.

If you want a good central location which has good facilities and clean, this is a must to visit.

We had a very warm welcome from Jacqui and Iain on our arrival for a three day break. The room was inviting, well decorated and very clean, with all the amenities. There is also ample car parking.
The house is only a few minutes walk to the bay and pubs and restaurants and an ideal base for walking.
The breakfast and dinner were excellent and always piping hot. Iain and Jacqui are wonderful hosts and introduced us to the local pub where we spent a very pleasant evening.
