"No claim bonus scam"
Dear Gmib,
I would like to know who exactly holds the authority to reinstate my No Claim Bonus. We have been trying to resolve this issue for weeks, yet I am still being told that I have made a claim for a benefit I never used. Despite repeatedly stating that all damages were covered by the third-party company, I am still being charged over 300 euros for a claim I never made.
Throughout this entire process, my own insurance company has provided no support whatsoever. I had to handle everything myself—arranging the accident site inspector, managing all communication, and ultimately proving on my own that a multi-million-euro third-party company was at fault in the accident. Meanwhile, my insurer simply collected a full year's premium upfront and sat on the sidelines, failing to defend my rights in any way.
Additionally, after weeks of unresolved discussions regarding my No Claim Bonus, it is highly suspicious that this issue was suddenly resolved today. It is evident that I have been deliberately delayed and obstructed from obtaining quotes elsewhere. You are knowingly making the process unnecessarily difficult simply to retain a customer who is forced to drive daily and cannot afford to wait indefinitely.
Such tactics are neither seen in other companies nor tolerated in other countries. This is exactly why I am considering switching to an insurer that will actually stand by me in the event of an accident.
Now, I demand full transparency: Who exactly is this so-called "authority" that holds the power to grant or deny my No Claim Bonus? I expect their full contact details immediately. Furthermore, from now on, I want all communication to be conducted strictly via email. I am tired of waiting endlessly on hold, listening to robotic voice systems.
Additionally, I want you to know that I will not hesitate to share my experiences with others. Rest assured, I will document and present every detail of what I have been through, both verbally and through Google reviews, with clear evidence. Initially, I personally recommended your insurance to three different people, who are now also your customers. However, I will not allow others to go through the same problems I have faced.
