"Only ordered from South Smoke once and…"

Only ordered from South Smoke once and won't order from them ever again. I ordered a hookah for my boyfriend for Christmas and as soon it came in I knew it wasn't fitting together right. I ended up giving it to my boyfriend early and he knew there was something wrong too. The bowl wouldn't fit over the rubber gromet and it wouldn't slide down all the way so the bowl was hardly connected. It looked like it was going to fall off and as we looked closer the ceramic bowl wasn't in a circular shape, it was shaped like an oval so that's why it wouldn't fit correctly. We tried calling to get a different bowl and they told me to take wet paper towel and wrap them around the stem and slide the bowl over it. I never heard of this before and kept asking for a replacement bowl. They said they'd send one out after I called 5 times and emailed them. They said I'd have to buy something else before they'd send me a new bowl.
So my boyfriends Christmas was instantly ruined and I had to find a different bowl elsewhere. We tried the wet paper towel thing and it shattered the bowl that came with it. Thanks for the crap bowl and the even shitter advice 🙄

"Poor product and service!"

Our hookah arrived and the box had obviously been opened and resealed. The ceramic bowl has large chips and two places where the glaze was missing. The metal stem has the plating peeling! The water bowl also has a chip. When we called, they said they have a disclaimer that handmade products will have flaws! LOL. They are obviously selling seconds for sure! We sent pictures of the defects. Three phone calls and several emails and they finally promised to refund our money but we have to pay shipping! This is a 22" hookah! Stay clear. Less than quality and they make it extremely difficult to get a shipping label and refund. Horrible customer service and dishonest company!!!

"Was a customer for years"

Was a customer for years. Would have a few crushed coals now and then but never had to deal with customer service. Until they sent me the wrong order. First they call me and tell me that i have to send my package to the right customer. And the otber customer would send me mine. After thinking about it, i decided to just return it. I dont want someone else touching my stuff like that. When i asked "what if the other customer doesnt send it?" Im told "then i will be even greater in your debt." The most unprofessional thing ive ever heard. I was told they could not overnight me a new package. After dealing with them for a few hours Im told the fastest they can get me a new order is 5 days because "our packages have been picked up for the day". The irony in the fact that i have to go to the post office now just to get my own money back but they cant send me a new package is insane. Just find another company.

Edit: they contacted me again and told me they may be able to get it to me quicker

Terrible customer service. Representatives so not know how to treat new clients. Have an awful system in place. Tried to set up my account for almost 3 weeks! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Go to hookah wholesalers or Hookah Shisha.

Couldn't ask for any better service than SSS provides. There aren't any "smoke shopes" in Gainesville, therefore I have to use SSS.
