Needed a battery urgently, and ordered a Yuasa listed as 'in-stock' online, relying on the company's claim to be the largest manufacturer of batteries in the UK.
Price was good, and promised next-day delivery. However, the following afternoon I received an email apologising that due to 'unforseen demand', this battery was out-of-stock.
This surprised me since I would expect a company of this size to keep up-to-date stock records, and their website to reflect this accurately.
Consequently I ordered the same battery at a slightly increased cost from another company , and received it more than 100 miles away less than 24 hours later despite the disruption caused by snow,. THAT is what I call service!
Update. 27/01/25
I've received a reply to my review, and it is exactly the same response to a previous review late last year when someone else experienced the same problem with an order. Clearly nothing has yet been learned from this.

I was in the need of a new battery for my granddaughter's car toy, and I have found Ultramax on Ebay with a similar one, with a very good price and the delivery was fast and i have been kept updated all the time with the progress of my order! I will definitely be ordering again if I will need any replacement batteries!
