"Brilliant company"

Brilliant company. I bought 4 packs of 2 twin-slot shelving uprights, plus brackets and book ends. I cannot fault these products. All are well made. I am very grateful to Jon Askill their Marketing Manager for answering my questions. As a result, my project went very well indeed. Simply fantastic service.

"Great product, but assembly a nightmare!"

The product itself was fine, once assembled. That was the problem though; the assembly instructions are IKEA-like i.e. a few tiny diagrams on a sheet of paper. The video instructions linked via the QR code were no better, making it look, oh, so easy! If only! Maybe if you had assembled similar before it would be OK but the tabs were a devil to slot in; some went in first time but the majority needed slight bending, but not too much!

Delivery was swift; in fact they were left on my doorstep the day before expected delivery (so much for signature required).

Was it worth it? On balance yes, they look great and the shed is a lot tidier now.

I was given useful information by phone about which cabinet was better for a garage which was damp. Delivery was very quick. I haven't completed building the unit yet, but am following the on-line video. Putting the parts together is not as simple as shown on the video. Much harder use of the mallet is required than the gentle taps shown on the video.

I contacted RBUK as I had neglected to treat my shelves and unfortunately my shed was not the most air tight of structures over this first winter and wanted to replace the mouldy shelves which with the water damage had warped as well as gone mouldy.

Not only did I get a link to the shelves to replace the ones I have but the advisor also suggested some ways and products to combat the mould issue in the future.

Despite not purchasing the product direct from them the assistance was quick and really helpful.

Ordering the replacements was simple and delivery fast.
