"Mid and Lower Back Pain"

I am having mid and lower back problems and has been visiting different physios but Karl was the first who was able to identify the issues and show a path to recovery via effective exercises and hands on therapies during our sessions. I can highly recommend!

"3/4 year injury solved in months"

I approached Karl with an issue in my mid back region that had prevented me excercising and kept causing problems in my day to day life for a number of years. Karl identified the weaknesses I was having in my back straight away and we started work on a program to resolve the issue. After a few months of building up strength, I have been able to go back to my usual routines in and out of the gym and have barely noticed it since. Would highly recommend for any back or spinal injuries!

"Personalised, friendly, highly competent treatment"

I approached Karl with a non-specifiable pain in my right knee which had prevented me from jogging and other physical exercise for a long time. Having had a personal conversation with him, followed by a set of diagnosis exercises, Karl came up with a personalised treatment for me.

What I appreciated the most was that Karl was always happy to walk me through the technical, medical aspect of the causes of my pain, while at the same time giving me a number of exercises suited specifically to my needs and constraints (time, physical strength, desired goal).

Throughout our cooperation, Karl proved to be highly competent, extremely friendly and was always approachable. As such, my work with Karl was a very pleasant experience, which I can only recommend.

"Excellent physio - tailored treatment. Highly recommended!"

I’ve been seeing Karl for over a year due to a long-term back injury, initially a few times a week and now less frequently. In that time I’ve seen a huge improvement - from being in excruciating pain while walking, to doing parkrun/10k runs and lifting weights in the gym. Karl’s focus on building strength gradually with pilates-based exercises has been the foundation for this. He has also given me a range of exercises to do at home to alleviate pain if it flares back up again.

Karl can tailor each session to the patient’s needs and abilities (even where these fluctuate from week to week), and uses a variety of techniques as appropriate eg manual therapy, strength training, acupuncture, electro-shock therapy.

Karl is an excellent physio and I have no hesitation in recommending him!

I cannot recommend Karl more highly. Before I began seeing him, I'd been struggling for years with my back. He's helped me reach a point where I can foresee a future of living pain-free. "Great Physio! Great Service! Lasting Results!"

A great physio and a really nice guy! Karl has a keen focus on self-care techniques including home exercises and lifestyle changes. These allow you to rebuild your strength and avoid injuries/pain re-occurring, ensuring lasting results. This is combined with the physical therapy sessions which are great for relieving pain and isolating the cause of the issue. I'd been dealing with lower back pain for 3-4 years and after seeing Karl for a few months I now feel stronger and more resilient than ever and have seen a massive reduction in lower back pain. I'm also now equipped with the tools to deal with any flare ups that do occur.

I have now been going to see Karl Khan, at Rebuild Sports Clinic, for over a year following a number of injuries picked up playing hockey.

Across a series of sessions, Karl has not only helped to ease tightened, pain and discomfort in my knees, hips and neck, but he has also provided me with a series of exercises and stretches to prevent further injury.

Where Karl goes above and beyond for his clients is his accessibility. He makes himself available to messages or calls regarding any pains or injuries and provides advice or preliminary assessment for clients ahead of an initial check during a face to face session.

All in all, Karl has helped me to improve strength and mobility in a short space of time and that has allowed me to continue to play the sport I enjoy!

"Shoulder rehab"

I started seeing Karl earlier this year for physio on my shoulder. At that time I had limited movement and pain, but following Karl's treatment, exercises and advice there's been a huge improvement, which is continuing. Karl is very knowledgeable and professional. I would happily recommend him to others!

"Rapid return to weight training thanks to great treatment"

Highly recommended. I experienced significant right shoulder pain due to overtraining and poor technique to the point of stopping upper body training, and several sessions with a physiotherapist made no difference. Karl was recommended to me and quickly identified several issues the first physio did not. I experienced a big difference within a couple of weeks. I was back to reduced-weight training within a month and could report no shoulder pain after hammering weights 2 - 3 months in. I have integrated some exercises Karl taught into a regular mobility routine and completely re-learned how to position my scapulae for just about every weighted exercise in the book. Stick with Karl’s treatment and say goodbye to lifting pain and shoulders you can’t sleep on!
