I ordered a handpainted copy of a very complex and challenging Dutch still life. It arrived in perfect condition and was very well done. It certainly appeared to be made by a skilled painter.

Although the process was a little painful, the end result was excellent. I picked a difficult piece to reproduce with a lot of color variation and brushstroke techniques, but the final product was very close to the original. I feel I was required to review the ongoing product too many times. The good side of this is that they will keep revising until you’re happy. The down side is that some of the early versions obviously needed revising. I felt like I was being “tested” to see what I would settle for (I have given this feedback directly to Paintingz and they took it constructively).
However, the final result was very,very good, for a price little more than a good print. I definitely intend to use them again.

I wanted a unique gift for my daughter's 1st year wedding anniversary. The project was to render an Impressionistic art from a photo of the couple during their vows exchange. It was held in the famous mountains of Santa Cruz in California, with thick forest and thousands of towering giant redwood trees, perfect landscape for impressionistic painting.

The art is so beautiful, it still makes me tear up....

I cannot thank paintingz enough. The painting I ordered was a work by Samuel Peploe. I could have bought a print of this painting but the idea of having a reproduction oil canvas was too good an opportunity to miss. The person from Paintingz, who was looking after my order was Ivy. She kept me up to date on how the painting was coming along and sent me a picture of the finished work, to make sure I was satisfied with it, before shipping it to me.
