Huw Tipton is an absolute legend. If it weren’t for Huw, Gary, and their team, there is no way we would have been able to buy our flat. Huw likes to say that he treats his clients as though they were his own family; I initially took this with a certain degree of skepticism, but have through my experience found it to be 100% true.

My girlfriend and I were purchasing a flat together and we faced a number of challenges in obtaining a mortgage because we are both self-employed from the perspective of a lender (I have a limited company, but as the director am counted as self-employed for the purpose of a mortgage). We both earn a decent living, so were shocked at how difficult the process was just because we are self-employed.

Despite all of the challenges and hurdles, Huw was an absolute champion. When one door closed, he kicked open three more, always approaching each new challenge with the creativity necessary to solve the problem at hand. In the end, he and his team managed to find us a loan with a lender I would never even have known existed.

Huw came highly recommended by a very close friend of mine, who had himself received Huw’s contact from a close friend of his. I would not hesitate to recommend Huw to anyone; in fact, I have already passed his details on to multiple friends who are looking to buy their first homes.

I can say with full confidence that without Huw, I would not be where I am today. His knowledge, experience, and determination – coupled with his attitude of genuine affability – made the whole process of obtaining a mortgage possible, successful, and even bearable.

Huw Tipton is, hands down, the best mortgage broker we could have hoped for. He, Gary, and their team have helped my boyfriend and me on many fronts, whether on the legal front of buying a first property, on the insurance front, and simply with the whole process.

Huw is the only reason why it was possible for us to get a mortgage and move into the flat we wanted. Both my partner and I are self-employed, and I am French with only pre-settled status. These details made it difficult to obtain a mortgage — on paper and in reality. But Huw provided stellar counsel and never stopped looking for the best options for us, regardless of challenges.
