"Extra charges and now dishonesty - UK customers beware"
Extra charges notified almost 48 hours after despatch to cover import tax to UK. This would have added enormously to cost of wine shown on invoice and order was immediately cancelled. It has taken 6 months to cancel the credit card charge for the wine, which was never received, and merchant has never apologised for misleading website and consequent
hassle.
The courier's own transit app disclosed the whereabouts of the wine to be Corbeille Essonne depot (South of Paris) at exactly 0708hrs on 10th March. My order was cancelled at exactly 0927 hrs and copied to UPS (Courier). All evidenced in writing. The wine was therefore demonstrably not in UK at this this time as UPS records and its own app will show. If you have not had your wine returned you need to address this issue to UPS not me. I have never received the wine (quite rightly) but Barclaycard advise me that you did collect the charge! You should be ashamed.
Potential UK customers beware. Wine probably OK (from wine pruducers) but "Chateau Com" utterly incompetent. Simple changes to website explicitly explaining substantial extra charges to be made for transit to UK in respect of wine ordered and details of proposed contract with courier explaining their charges would be simple and effective. But would of course eliminate any further trade with UK citizens. Beware!!

My shipment was sent only after 9 days and bad review when i release that nothing happening. They don't send any confirmation letter that they receive payment and and nothing about difficult weather conditions. They just blame me that its my fault that i don't say that I'm waiting my order :) In general good selection of wines, but service at this purchase was very disappointing.

The most terrible service I’ve ever met. Will not advice to order here anything. First time, they sent my wine to another country, as can’t even control delivery address. After writing three times to support they said that will resend or refund me, but nothing happened. Next time I ordered, they even hasn’t sent my package. Just created label in UPS and it is still waiting to be sent for three weeks. I wrote them a week ago and no response. Very disappointed. So writing here, please send my wines, refund me or at least contact me.
