"Great organisation and great response"

From the off when we met them at the Destinations show at Manchester Central MOI were terrific. We worked with them to develop our itinerary. They booked the best value flights and integrated the package. They were brilliant at dealing with changes needed before departure such as the airline changing the flights and once we were on the tour such as needing to move hotels. Fastidiously polite and with exceptional attention to detail. They have even arranged an excursion for us on our current cruise trip when we reach Cochin.

The guides, drivers & administration staff were excellent. From the moment we arrived in Delhi, we were met by the wonderful Subham who informed us of all the details of the trip. He set up a WhatsApp group to include us three travellers and the tour company administration team headed by Mukesh who worked tirelessly to ensure we had a most memorable and enjoyable experience. When a domestic flight was cancelled by Indigo Airlines, the team worked hard to ensure we connect with an alternate flight from a different airport. To facilitate this they arranged an additional driver for us. Whatever our needs were over the two week trip, they facilitated us. We highly recommend this tour company, have already recommended them & would unequivocally use them again.

"Wild wonders "

Following my first trip to India 5 years ago (on a motorcycling trip), I had vainly tried to persuade my wife to go there with me. Within 5 minutes of talking to her (at the Destinations travel show), DK had persuaded her to come on a tiger safari with MoI! The hectic schedule usually included a driver, spotter & a naturalist so we were well set up for wildlife encounters (never guaranteed). The thrill of seeing our first tiger in the wild on a night safari will live in our minds for the rest of our lives. Several more were to follow plus leopards, sloth bears, jackals & many birds. The lodges, food & staff were all excellent & I would have no hesitation in recommending Mysteries of India to anyone contemplating a wildlife holiday in India for the first time or indeed any time. From booking our trip to the final day Mysteries of India created such a magical holiday. The guides were well versed in their own history and culture. The drivers were kind and considerate. The cruise on the Ganges for our 7 day trip was amazing. We were truly blessed to have used such a wonderful tour operator who did not cut any corners. Every single hotel, tour and experience from being picked up from Calcutta airport, the 2 safari trips, Shimla, Delhi and the amazing Amritsar were incredibly well organised. Our India tour was a total of 28 days and we didn’t have one incident to complain of. They are a very professional company and puts their guests first.

"An idyllic holiday in Tamil Nadu and Kerala"

We have just returned from a superb trip to South India. We travelled from Chennai to Cochin and stayed in wonderful hotels, the majority of them heritage hotels. Our driver was very good and thoughtful, our guides, especially in Kanchi and Mahabalipuram, Madurai and Cochin were excellent. We were in Tamil Nadu during Pongal (a harvest festival celebrating bullocks) and were lucky enough to become involved in a local festival in a little village where we were feted and given welcome scarves and refreshments in the head man’s house. They were all so friendly and delighted to have us there. The passage from Tamil Nadu to Kerala was spectacular, climbing the Western Ghats through tea plantations until we climbed over the top and entered paradise. There is no other word for Kerala, especially the night on the houseboat on the backwaters. It was idyllic. This is a holiday that will stay long in the memory.

We just wanted to thank you for arranging such an amazing holiday for us - it was way beyond our expectations and the care you took of us was exceptional.

Our drivers and guides, in both India and Nepal, were fantastic. The guides were all friendly and knowledgeable, really adding to our experience. Our drivers were great too - I'm afraid I can't remember their names but our first driver, from Chandigarh all the way to Amritsar, was fabulous (he even had a basket of treats in the back of the car) and our Jaipur, Agra, Delhi driver was a joy to be with!

The "traditional" hotels we stayed in were fabulous, making us feel very special (the service, especially in the Oberoi Cecil and Hotel Dwarikas, was incredible).

The pace of the holiday was quite full on, but with your wonderful care we felt relaxed and it was completely stressfree - and you were so accommodating when we decided to fly from Kathmandu to Pokara.

We are already recommending you to friends who are planning an India trip next year, and when we return to India we will definitely use your services again.

Please pass on our thanks to everyone who looked after us. It was truly the experience of a lifetime, one we will always remember.

We have been with Mysteries of India many times. Their organisation is excellent. The drivers are always on time, and always courteous and helpful. The hotels chosen are sometimes luxurious, sometimes characterful but always good. India is our favourite place to visit, Mysteries of India our favourite company!
