"Do NOT recommend "

I had such high hopes for this company after an initial zoom consult but boy was I disappointed. When we were quoted for the move it was very clearly communicated that the movers would wrap up, dismantle and rebuild everything upon move in and out. It was also communicated that our Elevator fee would be waived for pick up but we may have to pay it upon delivery (totally fine). We also were informed once we provided our address that from what they could see on google earth, the semi truck should have no issue delivering our stuff. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because the pick up crew and customer service was helpful. Nevertheless, there does seem to be a lack of communication between their customer service and their drivers. Day of pick up we were charged both that Elevator Fee, a long walk fee (that was never communicated) and they charged us for items that were already listed in the quote. This was resolved once we contacted customer service and they agreed to take those incorrect charges off of our final bill and waived the elevator and long walk fee. When it came time for delivery, we got an phone call notifying us of estimated arrival date and were questioned on whether the truck could fit in our parking lot, we informed the delivery driver that the customer service rep who assisted with us setting up the move utilized google earth to check and confirmed that the parking lot would be fine (we also confirmed with our landlord). The delivery driver very rudely informed me that the customer service rep does not drive a semi truck and he sees no way in which it could fit. After some back and forth he decided to shuttle the stuff with a box truck just incase. This was totally fine with us but again highlighting the lack of communication. Lastly, when it came to delivery, the drivers were an hour and a half late from what they quoted us for arrival, smelled like pot and a handful of our stuff is broken. They also did not rebuild anything that was dismantled. At this point, due to the fact that our apartment reeked of pot, we just let it go and did it ourselves. Moves are stressful and for the amount of money you will end up paying, I recommend going with another company.
