"Return Policy and also missing items"

I ordered 2 of the same dresses in different sizes. I intended to return one of them assuming one of them would fit. Upon receiving the dresses one of them came without the belt that goes on the dress. I suggested I use the one from the other dress, but they told me that in order to be able to return it, they can't allow me to have the other belt.

They offered me a refund for the missing belt which still hasn't been credited (approximately $3.85 in USD) and their return policy doesn't allow you to return part of an order and get a shipping credit. Basically it would have cost me $30 to send back the remaining dress $35 dollar dress.

Make sure you really READ their return policy and hopefully if you're promised a refund you receive it, because I still have yet to.

The return policy is totally impractical!!
After searching the site for 10 minutes to find information on returns, I find out there is a only a 14 day return policy, and items must be shipped to the U K. This would cost more than $30 and take longer than 14 days to arrive !
If your selling in the US you must have costumer centric policies.
The clothes are adorable, but did not fit me well, so rather than trying another size I’m just frustrated.

A good friend bought a dress and it came with missing buttons. They told her they would only give her 20℅ off or send it back at her cost. I think that is poor customer service and i don't think I want to take a chance ordering detective product from a company that won't make good on it.
