"Can't contact"
Received order for Christmas but wrong size. Unable to contact as email always says we can't send now--try again later. Phone seems to be answered by a little girls voice which is not helpful and simply hangs up. Not sure whether this is a legitimate company or a front for collecting information. My experience was terrible.

I ordered a silver pair of Celeste peep toes. The shipping was super fast, which was great. The shoes on the other hand, had a very yellow/old tint to them, and what looks like glue drips on the sides. I decided to return them the moment I I opened the box, and realized they do not provide paid return. So after the original $6.99 shipping cost, I have to pay an additional $6.99 to sent them back. So I'm still out $13.98 on a $19.99 pair of shoes, which I never wore or took out of the box.

I am not a person who normally likes to submit a review, but since this is my first experience i.e. first order with ippolitan and it was completely screwed up I thought that I should let someone know. First, I believe it was a day or two after I placed my online shoe order, I was contacted by someone from ippolitan informing me that 1 of the 3 shoes I ordered was no longer available and that there was not a suitable substitution. Yes, I got my refund. Then I got my order today, which what I thought was my order since my name was on the outside of the box, but the packing slip did not have my name on it, but someone's elses altogether. Along with someone else's order. I called immediately and the customer service rep, although she was friendly and helpful, she could not tell me where my order was citing I hope it went to the person whose order I had by mistake! I don't get it...have never expericenced problems like this before and think I should not be charged at all even if I do get the merchandise I ordered.
