At first, It appeared that I was perhaps just unlucky to have received what may have been a 'One-Off' bad screen for my Galaxy S5 that caused a number of issues, and in their favour, Easy Tech Parts were very keen to address the problems with either a refund or a screen replacement.

So for that I cannot fault them...

However, the replacement screen showed the same issues as the first, namely very dodgy touch sensitivity, the S5's inbuilt screen modes are not supported, lacklustre colours, and a screen which just would not stay stuck down, and that has now failed completely, leaving me with two non functioning screens.

Needless to say, I have bitten the bullet and paid the extra for a genuine Samsung screen (which has returned my phone to its former glory), as the S5 screens sold by Easy Tech Parts are not OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) screens, despite the fact that the company advertises them as such on their website.

The bottom line is that these screens are an OK solution to get your phone up and running again, for a while at least it would seem, but if you're looking for the same quality and features as your original Samsung screen, then I'm afraid you're going to have to pay the extra and go for the genuine article.

I last contacted Easy Tech Parts on the 17th of July via their email address in regards these latest issues, but to date (23rd), I have yet to receive a reply...
