They may have replaced the outer shell or used some techniques to make it appear so (all scratches and first completely gone).

DroneWorx were very competent with the repair and very responsive whenever I emailed for status. My only issue was the time it took for the repair. This was apparently due to them not having spares in their stock because DJI hadn’t made them available. Hopefully that is now resolved.

I sent my drone for repair, to be honest I thought it was unrepairable due to the extensive damage, so I was really surprised when it came back as good as new!
Really pleasant and transparent experience, I was updated regularly and repair costs were fully itemised. There was no obligation to go ahead with the repair but I thought the labour and parts costs were very reasonable. Hopefully I won’t need their assistance again, but will have no issues using the Drone Worx should the need arise!
