Bought large stainless steel bowl to use as an outside water bowl. No worries about damage if water freezes in cold weather. I never knew about the different grades of stainless steel. I'm glad of the high quality stainless and no worries about an unhealthy product. What makes it even better is that it is made in USA.

I bought two stainless steel food/water bowls from Basis Pet and I'm very happy with the quality. You can't really tell from the photos but the bowls are heavy grade and thicker on the bottom so they sit well and are solid. They don't look or feel cheap like some other metal bowls you may see in the pet store and it's good to know Basis Pet is dedicated to a quality made, safe, US made product.

The bowls that I received from Basis Pets are awesome! I specifically wanted a product that was made in the USA and Basis Pets provided that with a superior product. It appears these bowls keep the water cooler longer. They also have great customer relations. The bowls are priced right! I have searched several bowls and the crap from China or India is the same price or more expensive! I love to support local quality companies and Basis Pets is one. I purchased two sets of bowls - one for my pup and one for my parents dog. My mom is also quite impressed with Basis Pets.
