Complete and total con! Companies like this exist only to exploit the current global economic situation, offering huge payouts to their prospective clients. I dealt with Kate Vallely, who was very accommodating and was very quick to make concessions on the "fee", despite never being asked to. I simply asked for the terms to be clarified and every single time she folded, just desperate to get a signature on a contract. What these companies do is raise fraudulent claims with HMRC, secure a payout (which comes directly to the client), claim their commission (which they negate to tell you is plus VAT and a admin fee). Shortly after, HMRC will pursue the home owner for the full value of the claim, plus interest and penalties, at which point the Consumer Claims Bureau will have nothing to do with you. Luckily I smelled a rat before signing the paperwork that they tried so hard to pressure me in to. Companies House have been sent a full report and hopefully their director Michael Banjo will be barred
