I just wanted to say a very heartfelt THANK YOU to Dr Linea.
I am absolutely over the moon with my results. As I have been edging towards the dreaded 50 years old (not quite but nearly) my face just seemed to look old.
I was so worried about filler as have been terrified about pillow face or unnatural look, but I have been observing Dr Linea (via Instagram) for over two years and felt she’d understand someone who wanted to look better, not different.
And my goodness, I was SO right.
Not only is she so calm and considered, but the results are truly amazing.
I decided to just go in and say ‘do want you think I need’.... I put my trust in her and she gave a result which I had only dreamed of. I looked exactly the same but fresher, brighter, younger BUT not in a way that anyone immediately noticed.
I can really tell. But I don’t think people can.... no one has said anything but I have my jawline and my cheekbones back which quite frankly had gone over the last 5 year.
It also didn’t hurt AT all.... just a bit of pressure but not pain. And I had NO bruising and no swelling. It was amazing. I went back to work after 2 hrs and no one noticed anything.
Honestly I can’t thank you enough Dr Linea, and would recommend the filler treatment I had to anyone who wants to claw back a bit of their youthful look without looking ridiculous or different.

Absolute genius. I went in with a problem with lines around my mouth and just by studying my facial expressions whilst i talking and smiling Dr Linea could see the problem. "Tear Trough disappointment"

I had considered having tear trough filler for a few years, this September prior to my 30th birthday after much research and consideration I decided to book with Dr Linea. I chose Dr Linea based on her noted experience and the reviews I read on here, I was aware I was paying slightly more than other local practitioners but felt reassured I would be happy with the results. I paid my deposit and was booked in for a consultation directly before my appointment.



At the consultation, after completing the various forms Dr Linea advised the dents under my eyes were a grade one and treatable, I was also advised that it may be beneficial to have cheek filler too (at an extra £330, doubling the expected cost). I felt put on the spot, the treatment I had booked in for was something I had looked into prior to my appointment and made an informed decision to proceed with. This additional treatment being suggested minutes before my actual procedure made me feel uncomfortable as this did not give me much time to consider having an extra procedure and the additional cost. It came across as an upsell (like hairdresser offers you a hair treatment at the basin, yet this was doubling the cost of mine to £660!). I went ahead with the 1ml, and was advised I may need more depending on the results (again at extra £330 per ml).



In the coming days I was so disappointed with my results, or lack, I barley noticed any change. I emailed Dr Lineas’ office with my concerns and their response didn’t make me feel much better. It was not very reassuring, more covering the fact that they did advise I could have cheek filler too, they did advise I may need more filler and I may see results in coming weeks. The cost implication was responded to advising ‘we do offer finance’. I highlighted that consultations should not be booked directly before an appointment if additional treatments outside of the original booking are going to be suggested, it doesn’t give people time to make an informed decision.



I am now three weeks post procedure, still with virtually no change in my under-eye area. Sure, I could go and have another ml injected, but again may not get the results I want. How much would I end up paying? My point is, I paid a premium to go to Dr Linea for her expertise and experience, I would have thought she would be able to accurately assess how much filler I would need to notice a difference or at least be able to advise that having 1ml only would make no difference. If I was advised that I would need to spend £990.00 to get the results I has hoped for (initial 1ml tear trough and 1ml cheeks then addition 1ml tear trough) then I absolutely would have not gone ahead. I will liken it to the hairdressers again, you can have the highlights, but without the pink toner (at an extra cost of £x.xx) you will absolutely not get the results you want.



To conclude, this has put me off having anything else done in the future and I feel like I have wasted my money. I wanted to write this review as this was how I came to choose this clinic. I notice Dr Linea has also posted on Instagram (this is how I originally found them) regarding Tear Trough filler, noting that:

1ML is VERY unlikely to correct the problem area
Likely the undereye has lost volume because of the cheeks, so cheek filler may be needed too
I can only guess that they have had other similar complaints to release a post regarding this issue specifically. If only this was posted before I had my appointment! Makes me wonder how many other patients have come away feeling they have wasted money too!
