I put off writing my own will for years because I thought it was going to be too difficult. Quicken WillMaker was soooo easy and very user friendly. This is a really great program to help you prepare a power of attorney, healthcare power of attorney and living will as well. I wrote 12 letters to survivors using the program too. It was a huge relief to put these documents in a lockbox at my bank knowing that my sweetheart and family will have helpful documents available when I die or become incapacitated. I have recommended Quicken WillMaker to several people already and will continue to do so with great enthusiasm.

The WillMaker program is good. The Technical Support is a joke. 1) I experienced numerous log in problems and document printing problems. I carefully enter my email address and know my password. For some reason (software glitch) I was denied access. 2) multiple times I could not print documents from my iPad running updated iOS software.

You can never get to a live person on the 800 Tech Support number. Additionally, no one is available on weekends. I got numerous responses via email that did not answer the problems

I wanted a way to create legal and binding documents without having to hire an attorney. We have no "estate lawyers" in our area, and I'd have to travel a long distance for one. My county seat is the furthest I have to travel, and the cost is just my time now. The Quicken Willmaker made it so simple, and explains your choices all along the way.

"User-friendly & Excellent value"

User-friendly means to construct a basic legal Will, while avoiding (extortionist) attorneys’ fees. Note; most of my assets are either held in Joint Tenancy or TOD, so distributions are simplified, but it’s nice to have a legal document outlining and summarizing En Toto. Plenty of background info provided to help the user. Good value for the price.
