"Awful experience"

During my time taking classes with this instructor, I had one of the worst educational experiences of my life. As someone who has worked in education for several years, I can say this with confidence. I'm not sure if she was aware of how her actions were affecting me or if it was just her personality, but I often felt embarrassed and lacked confidence in many situations. I had no desire to attend my scheduled lessons because I knew there wouldn't be a single moment where I could enjoy learning.

During our lessons, she would criticize my driving by saying I drove too slow and referred to me as "granny." She would also scare me by suddenly taking the steering wheel or slamming on the brakes. Feedback was given rudely and sometimes through shouting, all under the guise of "protecting her car."

Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise against taking driving lessons with this particular instructor. I found her instruction to be inadequate, and I would not recommend her services to anyone, especially those who lack confidence in driving and want to learn to drive in Ireland. After switching to a different ADI, I was able to pass my driving test with only three marks.

I completed all of my driving lessons with CJ almost 2 years ago and today I passed my driving test first try!!! This would not have been possible without her. After not being in contact since i finished my lessons in December of 2021, i reached out to CJ a few weeks ago once i booked my test date. She went out of her way to squeeze me in for a couple lessons before my test and without those lessons i would not have passed. CJ is a supportive and motivating instructor who always tries to make sure you’re working to your full potential. She has the patience of a saint which is so important when working with young drivers with little or no experience. She became not only an instructor but a friend during the time i was completing my lessons. Anyone who chooses CJ Daly as their driving instructor is so lucky. Thank you CJ for all your hard work, dedication and patience.

"Highly recommended driving instructor"

I have recently started my lessons with CJ and I would highly, highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn to drive! Even after one lesson I came out with so much in depth knowledge on the basics of starting to drive, safety with cars, how to do engine checks! She covered everything I wanted and so, so much more. She is so friendly and helped calm my nerves. She instructs so clearly and confidently, if you are looking for a driving instructor please look no further than CJ!! Can't wait for my next lesson!
