"Bad Move"

We were due to move upon completion on Friday 20.09. 2024. However , and due to solicitors' bungle , money was not released and completion was postponed for the whole chain to Monday 23.09.2024. We had to pay a large storage charge , plus expenses for food , lodging and a change of clothes for 3 nights !

The removal company stored our furniture etc. at their warehouse for that weekend , where many items went "missing" , something we only discovered AFTER unpacking !!

Stated my requirements and submitted. Had multiple replies quite soon after. Able to contact each company and chose which one to use. Made it all so much easier and whole proces took one week from first contact to putting my feet up in new home.

It is NOT a price comparison site! This simply gives you the names of some exceedingly pushy removal companies in London! None of them were local, the second on my list had 1 star!!!! I got bombarded by calls every 5 minutes from one of the companies until I picked up.., talk about hard sell! Disgusting flagrant marketing technique!

I signed up based on reviews and was immediately given x2 companies who the I checked were rated 1 star with recent feedback saying they were both USELESS. I will as a result of Truspilot reviews NOT go any further with these people who are clearly making money fro m selling data and nothing else.

Zero actually comparisons, all they do is sell your details on to people who will harass you with calls constantly

First time using compare my move, I was so glad I came across this website as gave me options to pick reputable moving companies so I was very comfortable with the companies (options) offered to me! I had different quotes and chose the most convenient for a complex move (3 hours away and 3rd floor no lift)
