Unfortunately, I can only rate this company as average. In the past, we used their services with an excellent product outcome. I was highly disappointed that the new ownership doesn't provide the same level of professional service and product out come. It took approximately 2 weeks of back and forth before the final package was received. Working with the writer was fine because I understood that she was attempting to capture a particular result.

The final package received ( from the main office) was the problem. The Text document provided did not resemble the word resume. In fact, the text document was 3 pages long instead of 2 pages like the resume. The formatting was drastically off. I sent numerous detailed e-mail instructions regarding the changes that were needed. These instructions were ignored or a claim was made that only blank e-mails were received. The president suggested we talk by phone, but if you can't follow a list of written instructions talking by phone would be a further waste of time.
Towards the end, I was frustrated and decided to make the changes on my own.

I spent about three months researching resume companies and finally decided to turn Anout Jobs . I am so happy I did . I made contact via email and they were so responsive . From the start to completion of my resume building which was approximately a week ,they were very professional ; they met every timeline given whether it was for a call , first draft and final delivery . I am so pleased with the great job they did with my resume , cover letter etc. that I would definitely recommend them for any of their services.

A friend purchased a resume package for me two years before I followed up on it. I did the initial resume assessment, and I loved the honest feedback. But I then became overwhelmed with the questionnaire to complete so they can best pair you with your resume writer, and that writer can help you with the content of your resume and cover letter.

That questionnaire sat in my inbox for two years, and it haunted me. I kept trying to fix my old resume, and it wasn't bad. It was just okay. However, It did not answer the employer question: “What will you do for me?”

I took the plunge and decided to not be a perfectionist, and to just fill out the questionnaire in the best way I could.

I e-mailed it back to the company on a Friday afternoon. They still had my receipt on file, and they were happy to help.
Within one hour, I got a response from my certified resume writer with an appointed time for a phone interview on the upcoming Monday morning.

My resume writer was focused, professional, and thoughtful in how she probed to gain additional information when I struggled to articulate. Even though there were questions that I could not answer, she was unfazed. “Don’t worry. I’m okay without that information.”

At the end of the interview, she was clear about the timeline for project completion. I knew what to expect, moving forward.

Eight hours later, I received a draft copy of my resume and cover letter for me to approve. I opened the document and began to read. My mouth fell open. She perfectly captured me on paper, and it was the best version of me that I’ve ever seen. She was accurate and thorough, and my resume and cover letter are an honest representation of what I offer to those who open these documents.

I wrote back to her with a couple of minor revisions. She got back to me within the hour to let me know when I could expect the updated version. I had it the next day.

Every time I read this resume, I’m stunned. I feel like I gave her straw, and she gave me gold.

I spent years working on my resume and cover letter. Then I spent more time worrying about whether they were good enough. She spent eight hours, and now I don’t worry if they’re good enough any more.

The cost was worth it. I looked at it in the same way as I look at the cost of purchasing new clothes for an interview. I would just totally not waste my time doing my own resume any more. It’s more helpful to have someone who isn’t you, who can step back and help shine light on all that you are, and all that you’ve accomplished. I couldn't do that; she could. And she did.
