"I will use them Again"

Booked with them a budget trip last minute and was very happy with my trip around the west and south west of Uganda. Considering the money I paid for the trip, I was pleasantly surprised by the good standard of accommodation and food and the guides were courteous and professional. I would definitely consider using Karibu again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

My Wife and 2 friends (group of 4) went on a private safari with Karibu Congo Safaris. We had an amazing time and Peter catered for all our needs and got us nice and close to the animals and achieved in seeing all of the Big 5. Highly recommend.

"It was an amazing experience"

It was an amazing experience! My first interaction with anyone from the company was with Djino and I couldn't have met a more welcoming and nicer man than him. I can't say enough nice things about him.

Our driver Peter not only is one of the most patient people as he waited for us to see everything we wanted to see and never driving off too early, but he is incredibly skilled at being able to spot animals far away. For example, he was able to spot a leopard in a tree that no one else would've known was there but after he pointed out the leopard, we were all able to see it.

Our cook was also fabulous (and I'm a very hard person to feed because there are so many foods I don't like) and he worked really hard at making our culinary experiences good. It Started In Africa truly gave us an amazing experience and a wonderful vacation. Thank you!

"Terrible experience. Stay away"

Had a terrible experience with Baraka, sent me to climb a mountain without breakfast, food, enough water or a rain jacket, the guy never even sent me a proper itinerary. He is not a guide, just a broker who brings clients and match them with other vendors, he did not spend a day with me and the "guide" he sent me with barely spoke English and was only a driver. I had to cancel my trip with this company in one point and to find a different guide in the middle of Rwanda. Absolutely not recommended and I regret using this company for my Rwanda and Uganda trip.

"Amazing trip in Congo and Rwanda"

I spent few days with Barack and Fredis in Congo and Rwanda.
That was an amazing experience. i was very happy with the guides and the company.
They know the job, they are involved with the local community and can show you all the real local culture and beyond.
We were doing the Gorillas trekking in Kahuzi Biega which was amazing and economic. explored Bukavu and Goma, and also the volcanos national park in Rwanda.
The guides were very considering and professional. The cars were very good and convenient and i felt very safe and comfortable during the whole time.
Will really recommend to use this company, and will definitely use them if i go back to Congo again.

"Ein unvergessliches Abenteuer"

Dank Barack konnte ich eine beeindruckende Tour in den Kongo zu den letzten Flachlandgorillas im Kahuzi Biega NP wagen und mich jederzeit sicher fühlen. Aber auch die Übernachtungen auf der Tchegera Insel auf dem Kivu-See sowie die Besuche der Nationalparks in Ruanda waren sehr schön und es wird eine weitere Reise mit Karibu Kongo Safaris geben. Danke an Baracka für die sehr schöne Zeit.
