I would strongly recommend Cotswold Services Removals, and would not hesitate to use them again for any future moves. Anthony and Matt were absolutely fantastic, and we felt really lucky to have them on the day of our house move! They were extremely professional, efficient, great sense of humour, and two of the nicest guys you could meet. They helped take all the stress out of our big move. We also really appreciated the help in getting some of our white goods installed, and the plumbing knowledge & advice with the drainage connections below the sink. Many thanks guys!

A massive thank you to Anthony and the team for our recent move. They turned up on time, got to work protecting floors and furniture and loading up the vans efficiently without delay. We were at the new house and unpacking by midday. They were extremely courteous, helpful and friendly so couldn't ask for more.

Highly recommend paying extra for them to disassemble and assemble items such as bed frames and reconnect appliances - this meant all we had to do was unpack, safe in the knowledge that everything else was good to go.

In summary, if you want a stress free move for a fair price - do not hesitate.

Cotswold Services moved us last week and their service was second to none. Everything from the very first contact we had with them was nothing short of excellent.

I've broken the review down into components as some people prefer this.

Communications - Communications were superb with Anthony being available at all times to answer any question no matter how trivial. Emails were promptly answered and Anthony was happy to take calls at all times to help us understand exactly what was going on.

Scheduling - We had to reschedule several times which was a worry as we heard horror stories about other companies who would drop clients because of this. This was absolutely NOT the case with Cotswold Services who responded in a jovial and understanding way. Anthony explained this was par for the course and he spends as much time as is necessary to meet the needs of his customers, no matter how often those needs change!

Timing - The team arrived bang on time each day (we had packing and removal) and worked through the day with very few breaks. I was worried we would not make the deadline but the chaps were reassuring and confident they would meet the timings...they did and with some time to spare.

Packing - Crikey, if you sat still for more than a second you ran the risk of being packed yourself. To answer any questions around what is involved, well....everything. We packed some of our valuables ourselves but left clothing in drawers and wardrobes, we left our food in the cupboards and the fridge was still in use. Our loft was full, our sheds were full, as was our garden....everything got packed and NOTHING was too much trouble. The care taken was excellent and respectful. I had several expensive musical instruments and they took every care to look after them. All materials were provided as part of the packing service and special care was taken with all of our furniture. They dismantled beds and furniture where necessary (worth paying the extra for!) and re-assembled this at the other end. Of note, they left our sitting room until late in the packing process to allow us to remain in the house throughout if we wanted to. This was an unexpected but welcome aspect of the move as it meant we didn't need to make ourselves scare and could help, answer questions (or ask them as we did!) throughout.

Moving - Again, they arrived bang on time and set about in a fuss-free way. The guys worked like absolute trojans and stopped rarely for a few minutes breather. It was an incredibly hot day but despite the sheer volume and complexity of the move, it was all met with a cheery attitude and (I was pleased to hear) a bit of banter too. They loaded the van with absolute care, ensuring everything was taken and nothing was missed. When we arrived at our new home, Anthony walked around with us to get an idea of where we wanted things to be placed and the team got straight on with it.

Unloading - Again, the utmost care and consideration. They placed the items where we wanted them and unpacked the boxes and loose items in a way that meant they were accessible. Boxes were stacked neatly and carefully and care was taken for delicate items. They re-assembled our furniture for us, put the white goods where they needed to be and finished with a walk around with us to ensure we were happy with where everything was placed....if we were not, they moved it - no fuss, no drama.

Tidiness - The house we left and the house we went to were treated with respect. They left no rubbish or packing waste anywhere. Cleaning was down to us as one would expect but it was so easy to do.

The team - Brilliant, nothing short of brilliant. It was so nice to meet such a friendly bunch of guys for them, nothing was too much trouble. They worked really really REALLY! hard throughout the two days in very hot conditions and were bright and cheerful throughout. Also...respectful and considerate in a way that showed and absolute professional and can-do attitude. By the end of the two days we had gotten to know all of them, they had a genuine interest in us and we in them. It felt more like friends were helping us rather than just a company (really really hard working friends!).

Summary - This may be unexpected but our move with Cotswold Services was the LEAST stressful part of our move.....we actually enjoyed it and that was down to Anthony and his team. They knew our move had been stressful up until the day and took all of our stress and fears away for the main event.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. Awesome job.

Book them, you won't regret it and stop wasting your time looking around...you have enough to get on with already!

Cotswold Services recently helped us pack and move house in Cheltenham. It was a great experience: Alex and Anthony sped through an amazing amount of packing for us in three hours, covering the heavy and difficult stuff and did an amazing job, and Gary and Jamie did a fabulous job of moving us in the next day. Anthony and his team were so helpful and accommodating and took the stress out of the whole moving process.
Leading up to the move we were able to get a quick and reasonable quote with no hassle. They provided us with flexibility with dates as completion date was uncertain. Anthony was there to answer all questions and provide updates every step of the way (via whatsapp) which was so easy and hugely reassuring.
Due to the size and distance of the move Anthony suggested putting some of our belongings into storage the day before and these were then delivered the day after the move.
On the day of moving the guys were so friendly and efficient and got the job done with no hassle.
