"AVOID - inflexible and uncompassionate"

AVOID. I wish i'd have read the reviews before booking. We had to cancel when a family member was rushed to hospital with life threatening symptoms. Our family live overseas, 11 hours away. This was 3 weeks before our booking; I contacted the company to appeal for flexibility - we suggested a refund or credit note to be used against a UK property. This was flatly refused. A member of their team had the audacity to say that this was because we had provided "insufficient" notice - i kindly reminded them that this was the nature of an emergency. Again they came back to complain at the lack of short notice. A refund could have been achieved by readvertising the property - there was a huge event on in the town that weekend and it would have been rebooked. I escalated my complaint to the owners of the company who stood by their cancellation policy. We've carried out some research for other likeminded business, Stay YNA are by far the most inflexible. Needless to say we will never book with them again and will recommend that friends and families avoid them at all costs too.

In response to the reply - we have been very disappointed with the service. We did the right thing by contacting you privately and have bounced many emails back and forth over the past month to find a solution but you have remained inflexible. You left us with no other option than to make a review of this nature. A credit to be used against a UK booking was not the only solution we proposed. You have misrepresented the truth - we contacted you on 16th September to advise we couldn't make it and again on the 3rd October (the day before our booking). I won't even speak again on the unkind response from a particular member of your booking team. The reviews for your company on this platform speak for themselves.

"So disappointed"

So disappointed to say I cannot give this Company a positive review. We rented a house for a week and due to personal reasons had to depart the next day.
I completely understand Stay YNA, have to meet their terms and conditions and contracts with the home owners, but there was absolutely no compromise or chance of any refund for customers.
If I was a home owner I would certainly recommend using this company because you will get all your money for the rental regardless of any issues for the customer renting.
If you choose the rent a house via Stay YNA, make sure you have the most comprehensive travel insurance you can afford to buy. I do have travel insurance and struggling to get a refund, a small good will gesture from Stay YNA in this case would’ve gone a long way.
If I’m honest I wish I’d never booked through Stay YNA, wish there hadn’t been illness in the family and wish I literally written a cheque for the full amount of the stay and given it straight to charity. It was not a small amount.
Regardless Stay YNA followed their terms and conditions so cannot be at fault for this, it was the lack of empathy or goodwill or customer service that hurt. My experience has shown the homeowner is who Stay YNA are liable too not the people renting a property. It’s a chicken and egg though because without people wanting to rent homes then there is no money coming in.

"Vorsicht Abzocke!"

Vorsicht Abzocke!
Wir hatten ein Ferienhaus für 530 € über Fewodirekt gebucht. Nach ein paar Tagen kam eine Mail, dass angeblich die Kreditkarte nicht belastet werden konnte und man die Daten nochmal schicken sollte. Es wurden dann 990 Euro abgebucht und eine Mail mit absurden Gebühren (u.a. für Klopapier und Erlaubnis der Nutzung eines Mobiltelefons im Haus). Auf mehrmalige Nachfrage kam dann eine Mail, man weiss auch nicht, warum bei fewodirekt die falschen Beträge angegeben wurden.

"No Hot Water - 2 days"

We rented the Dingle Town house from this company. In general the location and house was excellent (great space location and beds). However, there was no hot water for the last 2 days of our stay. The on-site manager was very responsive and did their best to fix the problem with. However, it meant two days with no showers for our group. The company maintains the heater was working by the second day and we did not wait long enough for it to heat. I’m familiar with hot water tanks and the boost system function….that is not the issue. It may have been a malfunctioning timer or thermostat issue. Either way, the company has taken no responsibility or offered discount. We still had a great time in the area, but I can not recommend this company given their follow up response to this issue.

"Spacious apartment in a great location"

Spacious apartment in a great location. Easily walkable to the beach or old town, but quiet and safe at night. We loved our stay!

The balcony is one of the largest on the block, and is great for a drink or meal. Lots of storage space. Eclectic kitchen. Comfy pillows and bed.

My wife asked me to add that the pigeons may poop on your clothes when drying, so be sure to scare them off! 🤣

"The French Riviera"

We absolutely loved the little apartment in Nice, France. The balcony looking over Place Rosetti was perfect. It was perfect for two persons. Clean and well equipped. Everything was according to our expectations. We will definetely come back!

"This mini adventure was very important…"

This mini adventure was very important to me ..Tina ensured I had everything I needed. She was prompt in replying and was warm and friendly upon arrival.
The apartment itself was a perfect location very bright and airy. As I was remote working WiFi was important glad to say it was super speed and had no issues . I will most certainly be back.

"Price Gougers - Avoid"

Some friends and I had planned to go to the 2023 Other Voices festival held in December every year in Dingle Co. Kerry. My friend found a lovely house available on Air BnB for the dates we required 1st Dec to 4th Dec for a total price of €991.73. So my friend booked, the reservation was confirmed and total payment was made. Within a few hours my friend received a message from Stay YNA to say that the price was incorrect on Air BnB and that Stay YNA required a further payment of €357.57. Air BnB's policy is that if a price increase is requested and you opt not to accept it the confirmed reservation stays as is. However Stay YNA decided to cancel our reservation and our money was refunded. Stay YNA seem to think that price gouging is ok and while I realise they are a business who are interested in making money, if you advertise accommodation at a particular price and accept a booking it's very sneaky to then go back seeking more money when you realise that particular weekend in Dingle will be a busy one and you can charge what you want. It's despicable that Stay YNA did not honour the original price and agreement that was entered into and chose to cancel our reservation. My advice is to avoid companies like Stay YNA they are only interested in making money and think nothing of price gouging consumers.

"Pebble Cottage Stay"

We used to stay at The Break and have used Stay YNA for the last 5 years when possible. We found the last house, Pebble Cottage, as good as we have come to expect and needed for nothing except more time! House and amenities were exactly as described and the location was excellent.
Our host was also extremely helpful and accommodating. Thank you for a great 2022 and we are already looking forward to our 2023 stay.

"The company is a scam"

The company is a scam. We stayed in Maison Dior apartment in Nice and got robbed, our valuables and money were stolen when we were out of the apartment, even though the doors were locked. The company is not taking the responsibility for it and is saying to call the insurance company. But if someone who has key, enters the apartment, steals our things, locks the door after them I wonder who it was 🤔 Feels like organised crime from the company.
