"Great Supply Agency"

Josh & Ryan are always on the end of the phone when needed. Its great to know that if I need a Supply Teacher at short notice they will do their upmost to accomodate me. I can highly recomend Tempest as a good quality Supply Agency.

I've been with them nearly a year now and I have to say that Ryan the consultant i report to is always available on his mobile. Before getting a long term role tempest helped me prepare for my interview and an allocated team member called me to go over all the key points for my interview. Kerry prepared me well and gave me the confidence that I needed for the interview.

"Very unprofessional!"

Very unprofessional. No contactable consultant allocated to me. Bad attitude to getting workers settled and starting work. I am qualified and experienced,with all the relevant qualifications. I have been waiting over 5 months for a job they originally said they had plenty of.

"RUDE"

Chloe conducted an interview with me, asking typical questions about my interest in recruitment and the skills I could offer, which was expected. However, she then inquired if I was aware of their specialization as a recruitment company. I responded politely, expressing my interest in learning more about their focus. Unfortunately, Chloe became noticeably frustrated and admonished me for not already knowing this information, stating that I should have conducted better research. She proceeded to speak to me in a rude and disrespectful manner, indicating she had no intention of considering me as an applicant and abruptly ending the call. This behaviour was unexpected and unprofessional, especially considering my active job search and frequent interactions with recruiters. I have been actively submitting applications to numerous positions over the past two weeks, and I receive calls from recruiters on a daily basis. However, I have never encountered a recruiter as rude as Chloe. In most cases, recruiters operate as agencies, hiring for specific companies whose identities they reveal after determining an applicant's suitability. Without clear information about the business from Chloe, it was challenging for me to conduct research and prepare adequately. Given this experience, I am relieved not to be considered for a role within their organization. Working with Chloe, particularly as the head of the recruitment team, seems like it would be challenging and unpleasant.

"Absolutely shameful and unprofessional…"

Absolutely shameful and unprofessional education recruitment agency. They promise you a daily rate which you deserve because of your experience and qualification, you then make the effort to go to an interview that they have arranged, At the interview you impress the school with your outstanding teaching during a lesson, the school offers you the job and are keen for you to start straight away. Then in an act of total insanity, Tempest Resourcing phone you and tell you they will not be honouring the daily rate they agreed in writing, but will only be willing to offer you half the agreed rate,,, due to "Budget constraints". I was absolutely stunned that a so called teaching recruitment agency could act in such an unprofessional, greedy, insensitive manner. Please think twice before using them to find you a teaching position.

"The jobs don't exist that they…"

The jobs don't exist that they advertise. You spend ages on an application, send it off and hear nothing back, even though you get an email saying someone will contact you shortly. Checked their website months later and all the exact same jobs are being advertised. Unprofessional. Just directly apply to the job if you can find it online.

"I would recommend Tempest especially Shaun as a consultant"

A friend referred me to Shaun at tempest when I was looking for a job back in February this year. He sent my cv to a very good local authority and within 2 weeks, I got an interview and got the job 😊
He has also been very helpful and I'm very impressed with his professionalism. My experience so far has been excellent and Shaun always checks on me to see how I'm doing. He's very brilliant at what he does. I would definitely recommend this agency especially Shaun as a consultant.

"False accusations, screaming and no pay"

I had a horrible experience with Martin at Tempest. He accused me of constant negative feedback, However when my file was checked there was no constant negative feedback. In fact there was no negative feedback at all. I was accused of wearing a coat at a primary school by Martin. Wearing a coat after the flu when classroom doors were wide open from both sides made sense to me. Yet it was recorded as a negative feedback by Martin. He called me on the phone screaming at me and calling me unprofessional. He told me also that he submitted a payroll request for me to get paid yet Red Planet informed me that it has not received anything. I was told that I did not get paid this Friday because of my “ negative feedback” and that agency decided to not charge the client( the school) and decided to pay me from their own pocket on Monday! This is ridiculous! Stay away from this agency please!

"Great team"

My experience so far with Tempest has been first class , communication has been great very professional, friendly and helpful , my consultant is Shaun he has been brilliant , guided me every step of the way with my applications and managed to get me an interview with the job Iv now been offered very grateful to him and Diana who works alongside she has been helpful too , would definitely recommend them

"Unprofessional, incompetent and poor service"

I had previously had a good experience with Tempest. So, when I knew that I would be contracting again they were my first and only port of call. However, this was a catastrophe. Despite being aware eight weeks in advance of the date I would need to start a new job they were not able to deliver and just gave false promises. I am a very experienced worker with a strong CV so there is no reason for not finding me a position. In 6 weeks they were not able to get me an interview when three other agencies I subsequently have contacted got me interviews within two days.

Communication was non existent and the allocated worker appeared to drop off the face of the earth. I would strongly advise against using Tempest as a whole as while the issue I had may likely be more down to an incompetent individual worker. There is clearly a lack of oversight in senior position to enable this to go on.
