Phil spent a good two hours at our house talking to us first, looking carefully at the paperwork that we had for our various forms of energy. He then went around the house examining the various uses of energy we had in the house as well as looking at the nature of the house in terms of seals, double glazing and roof insulation. We were very impressed with his overall knowledge on the day as he went through what we had and what we could do. His report came a few days after the visit and forensically discussed what we have, how efficient our system is and then his recommendations had several options for us to consider. Phil enabled us to consider what was possible and gave us a far better idea of what we wanted to do.

We then had a follow up meeting with Phil explaining all the main points, a complete written report with full analysis of recommended options and lists of possible local suppliers. Phil has very extensive knowledge and relates his advice to our particular situation and lifestyle.

We had a quote from 2 installers and Phil (very patiently) helped us understand the details, provided spreadsheets to compare costs and savings, and answered our many questions. He also did a thermoimaging survey to identify where we needed to improve our insulation for greater efficiency and thermal comfort.

Overall he gave us the confidence to make this leap of faith - and we have no regrets!! Our house is warm, our water is hot, and we look forward to £££ savings. We’ve also made a big reduction in our carbon footprint!!
