Excellent morning out.Very welcoming when we arrived.Never done clay pigeon shooting before but Justin our tutor for the morning couldn’t have been more helpful in explaining everything and helping us throughout the session.Definitely look forward to going back next time we are down for another holiday.

Great day and excellent tuition from our tutor Don, had a complete beginner hitting pairs in 1 lesson!

"Ashcombe Shooting Ground archery experience."

Justin the GB archery instructor managed in the space of an hour to teach me and my two young adult children how to hold and use a bow safely and correctly and to hit the centre zone of the target. We learned safety in approaching and removing arrows from the target but above all he made it a fun experience which we would be happy to repeat if we are ever down in Dawlish again. Amazing experience! Majority of us had never held a gun before, never mind shot one. The instructor Paul made us feel at ease and made it a fun and enjoyable experience, would definitely recommend having a go to anyone.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience with great instructor 22.07.23. The whole session was built around our enjoyment and making sure we actually hit the Clay's. Plenty of enthusiasm and laughs all round and some successes. Stopped for lunch and totally recommend the burger. All staff very friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for something different to try would recommend you give this a go. Thanks guys, Rachel and Chris

Had a great evening at Ashcombe, It was only my second time clay shooting and I had really good guidance from Don, and Justin, which helped me improve immediately. All round great experience, had a cheeky beer after the shoot as well! great facilities and would highly recommend.

What a great place to learn to shoot! Lots of different targets and some of the views are incredible.
The registered shoots are extremely well organised and offers targets that will challenge all classes.
Just a lovely ground with fantastic, staff, food and shooting!

A big thank you to the Ashcombe Shooting Ground team, Don, Simone, Mike, Justin and Paul for organising our recent memorial shoot.
The 100 bird shoot was excellent with some great targets and the team looked after all of us as usual.
Will definitely be booking our Christmas shoot at Ashcombe.
