"binoculars lame"
EDEN Quality binoculars 8x32 give good view, especially for the price.
But ... the eyecaps of my binoculars are lame. After 9 years, but a not very intensive use. You have to turn them out (and in) all the time, and they don't seem fit for that.
The shop (Knives and Tools) agreed that this is not as it should be, and repaired twice, for free (although I had to pay for the sending the first time). However, they don't succeed in fixing it properly.
So, when you think of buying these binoculars, you should consider this weak point, in long term-use.

I’ve had eden’s Own label 8x42 binoculars for six years, I’ve used them in the relatively benign conditions woodland stalking in the south and crawling through bog and heather in the highlands. Totally unbreakable. Every ghille who’s ever looked through them has agreed they give the famous names a serious run for their money for 25% of the price.

"poor service and company refused to rectify their engraving error and I am stuck with a gift that is ungivable"
For the second knife purchase within five months I requested engraving from knives and tools. Upon receiving it I was completely devastated to see the engraving was wrong. Knives and tools changed my request without even notifying or asking me. It seemed like they thought I would not notice the size difference.
After the initial back and forth emails with Blandine she offered a refund and five pounds off my next purchase.
I explained it was a gift and I would be more than happy to have the engraving redone. That is all.
When I asked about returns and who would cover my postage she sent a short email stating and I quote: 'i am sorry the engraving is not what you expected but we can't offer a refund '.
This was after numerous emails saying I wanted the knife but with the requested and paid for engraving.
I am now stuck with a knife that I can not possibly present as a gift and have yet to hear from them. I would have gone on for years purchasing from them but this whole experience has left a bad taste with me. I am following up with an ombudsman as the law states an item paid for should be fit for purpose.
I couldn't believe it when I was told that the engraving was what it was and that is it.
Supremely disappointed.

"Definitely use again"
This was the first time I have ordered something from overseas and was a bit nervous. But the fallkniven A1 was £30 cheaper from EdenWebshopsUK. so took the gamble, I should not of worried they gave me a shipping number that worked fine and the order arrived in 4 days not bad considering it came from the Netherlands will definitely use again.

"POOR customer support, UNACCEPTABLE service."
I'd been waiting for 12 days for my order of Naniwa waterstones and Wusthof 200 year Oil so i decided to ring up the helpline. The girl i was put on to hardly even spoke English, just repeated that the oil was out of stock. I tried to explain that it said 2-3 days on the website to acquire the oil for delivery and that i thought it was pretty appalling that i had to find this out myself after 12 days of waiting desparately. ''Ok'', she said. No apology of the like or anything. She did agree to send the stones out without the oil though but didn't give me an answer as to when it would arrive. I've used this site before and i'm surprised at this lack of poor service. You really should think about your customer service.

"OK selling goods but poor customer support if goods are faulty"
I contacted K&T 10 days ago regarding a Wicked Edge system bought 4 weeks previously that has a problem with a guide arm working loose during the knife sharpening process. This can cause the the arm to slip position on the bar if not noticed and it is possible to cut yourself as the arm is insecure. It appears that the thread of the screw and/or the guide arm is poorly cut and even when well tightened still wobbles. I have sent emails and videos explaining this to K&T and have been all but ignored by their customer services. Very unhappy with their response having spent almost £2000 in the last 6 weeks with them and will probably not buy from them again.

Brilliant binoculars for the money....company prompt and helpful in answering quires. Will not go into technical details but the binoculars are great all rounders and came with very clear instructions with regards to setting up.
Add on: All the family have had a try of the Eden 8x42....all very impressed.

I was very well impressed with the website of Knives and Tools as it was clean, organized and easy to navigate.
I easily found what I needed and bought 2 pock knives for presents.
Requested engraving for both and all arrived perfect.
Dispatched on the same day, the DHL tracking number worked perfect and I always knew where my order was.
Ordered on a Wednesday and received next Tuesday.

"Fantastic shopping experience."
I purchased two Nitecore torches, two diffuser filters and a pocket knife, all at a excellent price with free delivery. The customer service i received was first rate, all my emails were answered very quickly and they couldn't be more helpful. I placed my order on Monday night and i received it on Thursday morning. I believe the company is based in the Netherlands and ships the orders from there so this is an outstanding service.
I am exceedingly happy with my shopping experience with this company and can whole heartedly recommend them.

"Better than expected."
I ordered a Wusthof steel. It came within a few days and I am really happy with this product as my old steel is getting very worn. It is exactly the right size for large and medium length knives and has a fantastic hand guard.
I would recommend the firm and the product wholeheartedly.
