"Poor returns policy "
Doubled up a Christmas present, tried to return the item within 3 days and was refused a refund. Now I have useless store credit that I do not need. Not a great time of year to incur this additional cost. I won’t be shopping at House again.

Do not buy from this shop. You cannot get your money back if you return the item still closed, only store credit. Read the fine print as they do not tell this when purchasing and there are no large printed signs saying so. The store rules are on a small sheet behind the counter and cannot only be read if you ask to read the store rules. The discounts are not so great. Much better ones can be found elsewhere in shops and online. I do not recommend this store and WARN YOU ABOUNT THEIR RETURN POLICY. NOT WHAT MOST CUSTOMER FOCUSED STORES DO. THEY SHOULD AT LEAST TELL YOU WHEN BUYING ABOUT THEIR POLICY OR LET YOU READ IT BEFORE HANDING OVER ANY MONEY.

This is a very elaborate scam.
Wish i had read the reviews first. Like everyone else is saying the Verfification Button Doesn't work, so you can not recieve enquiries from potential buyers. The reason the verification button doesn't work is because it's been deliberately disabled by the web developers. I know because im a developer and can read backend source code if you have the right probing tools, where most people can't.
Why its been disabled is a mystery as this just stinks of scammers and jokers.

This is a total scam, accounts open via an Instagram link, terms and conditions are buried in junk/spam emails, no refunds available. Took another payment despite account being closed and nothing is in stock. Their online chat service times out before you can peak to an agent. Absolute rubbish - avoid at all costs.

"Shocking service"
Shocking service. Account couldn't be verified so I had no exquiries. When asking for a refund I was met with a flat 'no' and told I had some nonsense 'credit to use for referencing' which I obviously didn't need. Not a word of an apology and still refusing to refund. Avoid and use one of the other sites

I no longer need property details. I wanted to unsubscribe from the House Shop but could not find the necessary link on the website. Steve very kindly helped me by promptly unsubscribing me from the House Shop end, thus preventing further unnecessary emails. I am grateful for his assistance.

I would give these no stars if it would allow. I would like to place an advert but this system won’t allow me to verify myself. No way of speaking to anyone, they don’t respond to emails or via Facebook messenger. Very frustrating and time wasters!

"Absolutely dreadful company"
Absolutely dreadful company. I paid to have tenancy referencing done, they took my money but no way to contact the company. They no longer accept phone calls, don't answer emails and their website has several errors loading. Do not use them.
