Then you go through different CV sections - you can decide which sections you want to include in your resume, from education degree to professional awards or conferences. What I like the most about this creator are useful tips which are available for each section and tells you what to put in your resume to maximize its potential. As you type, your CV preview starts to fill with information automatically - so you can decide right away
how much you should write in each section. It is easy to sort your working experience by date. At the end, you can personalize the main color of your resume, fonts and spacing between sections
to make this CV truly yours.
I think the creator is great and really simplifies and speeds up the whole process of CV creation. It has lots of options which allow for customization and is intuitive and simple to use despite providing lots of useful features. For me the greatest feature of this app are tips - thanks to them you know how to maximize your CV effectiveness and appear really professional.

It’s great. Really.

The templates are attractive, modern, and varied for almost any taste or purpose.

However there are some features I found critical and missing:
• I prefer having the contact details at the top of the page, not to the side. It’s easier for recruiters to find it that way. There is no way, using the cubic template I chose, to list my contact details horizontally (in columns). When stacked vertically, lots of unsightly empty space remains unused and pushes my experience to the next page. I resorted to hacking a free text component and manually arrange my details there. Looks decent but this should be available out-of-the-box.
• The skills section is relying on using the ratings system, in which I rate my skills 1-5. I’m against this rating system and would prefer a bulleted list with headers. Again, I repurposed another component type to show this information the way I liked.
• The education formatting should show the major first, and the school second, at least in this part of the world (Israel).

I was able to work around these issues but I’m afraid less tech-savvy users will not be able to do so.

To summarize - great and convenient resume builder, but some crucial features could use some bolstering and more flexible formatting options.

It was also a great opportunity for me to learn about communicating my own skills. ResumeLab is not only a template tool, it's also a recruitment advisory within.

In my opinion, ResumeLab is the very best tool for creating your resume.
Very easy to use. It has a user friendly interface, all the changes are saved automatically and there are so many templates to choose from.

My previous Resume was really weak and I used to spend hours on adjusting it in Word. Now I can introduce any changes within minutes. Absolutely wonderful.

If you have to update your CV, just use ResumeLab. The tool is so easy to use and navigate and the tips are really helpful. It took me less than an hour to prepare an amazing CV and I'm getting so many more interview invitations now. I highly recommend using this website if you need to find a new job.
