No hubo comunicación desde el inicio, no recibí información oportuna!! Nadie me decía nada! En en el proceso las personas que me atendieron no fueron claras, tuvieron varias equivocaciones y aún así eran muy groseros, en la firma, u día antes pedí indicaciones que si faltaba algún documento y me dijeron que no y cuando llegué con el notario me pidió un documento, por suerte el notario me dejó imprimir ahí, 3 veces me dieron mal los números para hacer los pagos si no me doy cuenta hubiera hecho pagos erróneos, no estoy para nada contento ni satisfecho con la experiencia que me dieron, no recomiendo a yave

"MXN closing experience as foreigner"

Let me start by saying this first. Since closing my lender has been great at communcating and setting me up with my account.
However, I would like to give my lender 4stars, but to be completely honest the 3.5 month long process seems a bit excessive, even for Mexico standards. My closing was pushed 3x and because the FX started fluctuating after the orignal closing, I ended up having to pay an additional 25,000 USD's to cover the differnce in the loan amount. Not sure how much of this delay was due to the entire process being very manual or if there was lack of communication between the lender and the Mortgage broker who was handling my foreign transaction. I really felt as though this process had never been done before by the mortage broker using you as a lender. Maybe that was the case, but I engaged the broker because they were the subject matter experts. At the end of the day, I feel the overall loan process took longer because at the time of closing, I reviewedd the closing documents the night before and noted 5 discpreancies that had not been reviewed or fixed by either the lender or the mortgage broker. This took more time to reprint the files and have the notary resign. Not to mention, the lender asked me to refresh documents 3 times when none of my info had changed during the 3.5 month process. I feltthis also kept delaying the process. I feel a lot of this process can be automated, but then again, I am no expert in Mexican real estate laws and regulations. If the lender and whatever mortgage broker they end up working with should try to work together to try and streamline and simplfy the process as much as possible. This will make for a happier clients in the future.

Fue una buena experiencia por que toda la informacion que presentaron fue muy clara. Solamente que tienen que conocer mas algunos detalles de la documentacion dependiendo de la zon/region/estado para que el proceso sea un poco mas agil.
