"After having Cherished Placentas…"

After having Cherished Placentas recommended to me by a friend I booked and went ahead with the steamed capsules. I'm now 15 days post elective c section and I really do feel amazing!
Nikki has been nothing but lovely throughout the process and I would recommend her to anyone considering.

"Amazing journey before and after"

I came across Nikki on Instagram and I thought what a brilliant idea on utilising your placenta after giving birth by encapsulating it.  It is full of nutrients and why not use this in my postnatal recovery!
I had the pleasure in dealing with Nikki who was amazing from the offset, very friendly and professional, liaising with both my husband and I.  Nikki was very informative and happy to answer all our questions. I decided to go with a package which contained the encapsulated placenta, oils, balms and other infused placenta products, some of which can be used on your baby.  The whole process was very easy and efficient with Nikki travelling from Norfolk to Northampton to collect my placenta. I ended up having an unexpected c section and I believe all items helped me with a faster healing process,  physically,  mentally and emotionally so I could concentrate on enjoying my new baby.  I have since also used the oils and balms on my baby to help with her dry skin and cradle cap.  I will definitely go with Nikki again if my husband and I are blessed with any more children.

Nikki was such a huge part of my birthing experience. I was 2 weeks over due and Nikki was so amazing at keeping me calm and was still available to help us with my capsules and smoothies even though I was 2 weeks behind schedule! Nikki came to the hospital, went back to my flat, made me up some smoothies and returned them to the hospital all within 2 hours of our baby girl arriving. The smoothies I really felt gave me such a lift and burst of energy and would highly recommend. I couldn't recommend a better company and a nicer person to be with you on your journey. Thank you for everything Nikki!

"Do it, you won’t regret it!!!"

Placenta encapsulation wasn’t something I had heard much about but saw it at a baby fayre and it got me thinking! Amazingly we are lucky to have Nikki locally to us, so of course we were going to chose her and my goodness are we glad we did! Nikki was very informative as to how the processes worked and while I was in labour (early and very speedy!) kept up to date with my partner and collected my placenta from the hospital in under 12 hours of when Rafe was born! My capsules were with us, in the post by day 3! This was my first baby but my goodness they made me feel engerised, hormonally balanced and my milk came in so quickly and my milk supply stayed strong! I absolutely loved taking them and believe they really did work and I will certainly be doing it again if we were to have any more children! I can not recommend this service enough!!

Just Fantastic. After the birth of my second child I used this service for the first time. Nikki was amazing and answered all my questions. The placenta goodies made me feel a whole new woman and I felt my recovery was much quicker this time round. I even ordered extra oils when I ran out. Thank you.

"Brilliant experience"

We were booked in with cherished placentas to encapsulate my placenta in my first pregnancy. Unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be, but we decided to try again with my second pregnancy.
I honestly am so glad we decided to try again with the placenta encapsulation and were able to make it happen this time. My milk came in within 48 hours, I managed to bypass even the standard “baby blues”, and my physical recovery was really quite manageable, despite bladder complications during and after surgery.
Nikki made the whole process really easy and smooth, and I’m so grateful for her services! The placenta body balm we added on has been great on baby’s dry skin, and I’m looking forward to using the placenta oil on my c section scar when it’s fully healed!
Ps the smoothies surprisingly tasted amazing and were really refreshing to have whilst in hospital!

"Wonderful experience!"

I approached Nikki after reading all the benefits that placenta capsules and smoothies can give you after birth and, after having a traumatic first birth and PPD, I didn't want to go through the same experience again with my second, so I decided to go for it! I can honestly say that this time, my body fully recovered from birth within a week!
What amazed me the most, is that I didn't experience any of the usual mood swings, I felt in control, calm and also physically strong and full of energy.
Nikki came to prepare the smoothies just one hour after having a home birth. She is very prepared, professional and always available to help and give you advice and support. I recommend her 100% and if I have another baby in the future I’ll definitely use her service again!

I want to thank Nikki at cherished placentas. This was my second birth and after my first traumatic birth experience I was left traumatised and anxious so I wanted to prepare for the postpartum experience. Nikki was extremely friendly and very professional and catered towards my needs. She provides a very efficient service and the placenta smoothies I had post birth were extremely nourishing and gave me that boost of energy. I also took the placenta capsules daily and used her fabulous skincare products. I have had a much better postpartum experience and healed much more positively physically and mentally. Thank you so much Nikki ….Highly recommended !

"Amazing!"

I’m no expert but in my third baby/fifth pregnancy I didn’t think there was much I could do that was “new”… however! I wanted to give myself all the help I could to enjoy both our baby and his brothers after birth. He is a much longed for rainbow baby, and after discharging myself from a stressful early induction attempt (planned for family reasons), and finally having my waters broken at 14 days overdue - birth was traumatic.
Nikki was amazing and supportive throughout the entire booking process, which was so simple. The changing of plans, and many delays to my induction, were no trouble at all, and the emotional support via message was lovely when you feel like you’re going to be pregnant forever!
My husband and the team coordinated collection of placenta/smoothies - they were delicious. The midwife was surprised when I hopped out of bed for a wee minutes after stitches, despite 2 days of no sleep and no food - I honestly felt “ok” so quickly.
My package arrived days later and I took 2 capsules 3 times a day until I ran out, I could tell if I’d missed any by my mood and energy. The tiredness and night feeding is of course still tough, but once I’m up for the day I don’t notice tiredness - I can’t know for definite but I’m sure the capsules play a part! I’ve also had my best breastmilk supply this time.
I’m now onto the tincture, experimenting to see if there’s an ideal time for me to take it in the day, the face oil is lovely and the balm cleared up baby’s dry patches beautifully.
My only sadness is that this was my last baby so I won’t get to do it again!
