I've been with TutorABC for many years now and it has been a good experience for me. I've relocated countries a few times over the past few years and having the flexibility to work and travel has been incredibly helpful. It even allowed me to apply for a digital nomad visa in a few places! The Teacher Representatives are very helpful and the community is kind and supportive. It takes some time to build up regular students but if you put in the effort, love teaching, and enjoy having a flexible schedule, then this job will suit you well.

I've been teaching with TutorABC since 2016, and overall, it's been a rewarding experience. The students, both adults and children, are generally a joy to teach – they're often engaged and eager to learn. One of the best things is the flexibility; you really are your own boss and can set your schedule to fit your life.
The cancellation policies are definitely fairer than what I've seen at other online teaching companies, which is a big plus. While the pay could always be higher, it's reasonable. And the teacher community is fantastic – there's a huge network of colleagues always willing to offer support and advice.
TutorABC also provides opportunities for professional development through various training assignments, which is great for continuous learning. The only real downside is the lack of dedicated tech support. You're pretty much on your own if you or a student has technical issues. But if you're good at multitasking, the teacher community can often help you troubleshoot.

Amazing teaching platform both for students and the teachers. Excellent onboarding experience for new teachers and a great teacher community. The only small downside is not so great communication between management and the rest of the staff but nothing that can not be worked on in the future.

I started teaching With TutorABC almost 4 months ago . Although I had had previous experience in teaching online with different other platforms . I could instantly notice the difference . The TutorABC team had designed an organized system to facilitate the teaching process for both teachers and students ( the materials are ready-made ; students get detailed reports after class ; teachers also get feedback ... and many more ) . I also appreciate how the team is available for helping teachers through whatever inquiry they have and help them solve issues faced . I’m currently on my 8th day as a newbie tutor at TutorABC, and I can confidently say that this is the best ESL platform I’ve experienced so far. My only suggestion for the training program is to include more practical games and activities for teaching listening, reading, speaking, and writing.

Materials
There is significant room for improvement in the self-produced materials. They often lack visual appeal, clear structure, and sufficient mechanical and meaningful exercises. Occasionally, you may even come across spelling or grammar mistakes.

I also find myself spending extra time sourcing external materials to supplement the assigned content in order to enhance the lesson and ensure there’s enough material to cover the full session duration.

I recommend that a professional curriculum writer be brought in to revise and upgrade all self-produced materials in order to enhance their overall quality.
