"My daughter followed an online course…"
My daughter followed an online course and made a dress (Grace) as part of her Duke of Edinburgh award. Its a lovely dress - almost finished but I'd bought the wrong zipper foot, purchased the correct one at sewoverit - and the staff were happy to sign it of for us. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. V pleased.

"fabulous better than I thought"
I went to the introduction to sewing class 9-10 June. Georgie was our teacher in a class of about 7. We made a cushion, toiletry bag and night shorts. I learned so much and for a novice with no knowledge of a sewing machine, I am amazed at what I had achieved. Georgie was patient and helpful. the room setting is very tranquil. It was fantastic. looking forward to my next class, dress making - the ultimate shift dress. BTW the fabric are fabulous, so much to choose from. Joanna

"Poor patterns design"
Loved the look of Sewoverit's patterns. However in my experience they don't live up to the nice pictures and clever marketing. Firstly I purchased the Pussy Bow Blouse pattern. Unfortunately, the pictures of the different versions were wrongly labelled so I ended up making the version I didn't want. I then made the pyjama trousers. Despite carefully measuring myself these turned out to be absolutely enormous and required a couple of centimetres taking out from both side seams. Not quite sure what to do about the front of them being so large it reaches almost up as far as my bra!

"Two disappointments."
I've had two experiences with this company. The first was attending a sewing course to make a pair of pyjama trousers. There was some mix up with a courier and patterns not arriving so patterns had to be traced by hand. I ended up with two back pieces for the pyjamas through no fault of my own and so had an unwearable pair of trousers. My second experience has been this week. I placed an order on line on Monday for some fabric I wanted by today (friday). They didn't dispatch it til Wednesday so it hasn't arrived. As a result I don't have my fabric to take on holiday for a holiday sewing project. A real disappointent.

"Lovely Shop!"
We refer SewOverIt to all our clients and the feedback we get is great. They love the classes and the staff and have nothing but great things to say about the whole experience. Would highly recommend to anyone.

"Best day ever"
I had a wonderful day at Sew Over It, I arrived really early before my course started to pick my fabric (I took the intro to dressmaking class) and the Manager there I think she was called Alex was so helpful, she spent ages with me helping me pick the perfect cotton - she was very patient! The class was fantastic and nice to be with a group of creative people. I will definitely take another class - thanks!

"A great sewing hub for vererans and newbies alike"
What a gorgeous place. The minute you step inside Sew Over It you are awed by its calming, beautiful and motivating vibes. I took the Intro to Sewing class some months ago and was very impressed by the resources and the quality of the teaching. I even made a few friends I am still in touch with today. Couldn't speak more highly of this place! Go in and see for yourself!

"Best place to learn how to sew"
I have been inspired by so many people learning new crafts in the last couple of years and decided to take the leap and learn how to sew a couple of months ago. I'm so glad I chose Sew Over It to do this as by the end of the Intro to Sewing course I felt confident to sew at home on my own. Not only is the shop a lovely, light and airy space but we had an amazing teacher - so patient and knowledgeable! I enjoyed it so much I've made cushion covers and tote bags for friends since. I can't wait to come back and do the Intro to dressmaking course.
