"Not what they promise"

Well where to begin, I was cold called back in April this year with a well rehearsed sales pitch that promised great results. This was for a new app for my local golf course that would get my little company some attention. I was reluctant to begin with as they were asking for £25 a week for 2 years but this had to be paid asap. due to this i was reluctant as i do not make that much money so the thought of giving up so much money so quickly to get some advertising had to be thought about. After a few days I was then called up again by someone who told me that time was running out and that my slot was about to be filled if i did not act quickly as all the others for this club had now been filled and they would hate for me to loose out. This is when i decided that maybe i should take a change to get noticed more in my local area especially if there are another 17 suppliers advertising already. I spent over £2k plus vat to secure my position which was fine if i managed to get returns in the future. I have now discovered that i have been completely duped as I am the only supplier stupid enough to advertise at my local course with this company and the app is not only of poor quality but i am the only local company advertising and i feel like i have been scammed. When i mentioned my concerns, I was told that they had made a small mistake by telling me that I had the last slot for this course but that there is nothing else they can do for me.

I did mention that i would write a review if nothing was done and low and behold here I am writing after this 3 months after i tried to resolve my case.

After a rocky start we now enjoy a great relationship with golf growth. its all thanks to Rachel who has recently taken over our account. the system works well when you apply for an advanced booking and if by any chance we cant get on the course we want Rachel goes a wee step further by providing a range of other options within the same area without prompting. First class service and I'm a happy customer.

I requested tee off time within 7 days, which I know is not always possible wit, however on this occasion Rachel was able to get me a tee off time, not at my preferred golf course, otherwise it would have been 5 star review, but at another course close by. So I appreciate the effort she put in and now I can host my clients on a day at the course.

The portal is a really simple and efficient way to schedule in rounds of golf whether it be 2, 3 or 4 balls.

So far we have never been let down with arranging rounds and Rachel has particularly been really helpful and proactive in dealing with our requests!
