I have delt with other brokers who have not been anywhere near as knowledgeable and are only interested in getting a sale They normally have a limited range of whisky as well compared to Braeburn

I had arranged to have a consultation regarding a potential investment in a cask. They called me during work outside the scheduled time on the wrong day (a day early) and just immediately dived into a load of questions even though I'd made it clear I wasn't available as I was working. I told them the time and date of my actual consultation (the next day) and they said they'd call then.

The next day arrives and there's no call whatsoever despite a Google calendar email from them for the slot and such. No apology for being late or having missed the appointment. The next day they call me up again, no apology for the previous day or mention of missing the appointment time and dive into questions quite rudely asking what my profession is. Not to mention whenever they called me it sounded like they were on a Wall Street trading floor with the ridiculous amount of noise from the call centre.

For such a large potential investment and portrayal as a professional organisation I wouldn't trust them with a pound of my finances. Left a sour taste. I'll be looking elsewhere for my cask investment.
