" A Deep Dive Into Self and Spirit"

I recently completed this yoga teacher training program and couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. The training covered all the foundational elements I was hoping for, from philosophy and anatomy to sequencing and teaching methodology. Every aspect felt thoughtfully designed and accessible.

One of my favourite parts was the virtual group sessions. Connecting with other students from around the world created such a beautiful sense of community. Sharing this journey with people from different backgrounds and cultures brought so much richness and perspective to the experience.

All of the teachers were welcoming, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. They created an open and nurturing space that allowed me to grow, not just as a future teacher, but as a person. This training offered me a whole new perspective on yoga — beyond the physical postures, it became a journey inward. I gained a deeper understanding of myself and felt a renewed connection to something greater than myself.

I especially want to give a shoutout to my mentor, Emily. She was such a calming and encouraging presence throughout the training. Her easy-going nature, compassion, and positivity made a huge difference in my learning process, and I always felt seen and supported during our interactions.

I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to dive deeper into their practice and themselves. Whether you plan to teach or just want to grow personally, this training is truly transformative.

This program is great. Even though it's all online they really help make you feel like part of a community. I learned the principles of yoga, how to DO yoga, how to TEACH yoga, and how to LIVE yoga. I honestly loved it.

I can not say enough good things about the YD Online Teacher Training. Bullet points of why I am happy I chose this program:

1-I appreciated the self paced program, allowing me to continue with my day to day life and complete my goal of becoming a RYT.
2-The course written material is very well done, both easy to understand and an in-depth knowledge of the history, purpose and asanas of yoga.
3-Course videos with Shy, Keith, Kristin and Jackie are personal, insightful, and educational in addition to giving me connection with the developers of the program.
4-The core instructors encourage you to find your own path as a yoga instructor or as a yogi taking the course to deepen their own knowledge of yoga.
5-Live sessions (often with Emily) encouraged connecting with others in the program, all of us in various stages of the program, life and yoga experience. Lessons/yoga classes/discussions taught in these weekly gathering were helpful in my own yoga practice but also as a yoga instructor.

I have attended yoga teacher intensives before, it is a lot of information in a short period of time. This program allowed me to take in the information at a pace that allowed it to sink in and for me to find ways to apply my knowledge in daily practice.
