My item went missing via Royal Mail 24hr Special Delivery. Jacqueline from Customer service dispatched me a new knife within 48hrs, and I ended up very satisfied. I have issues with Royal Mail Northampton sorting centre. Second item I've had gone missing there in around 3 months. Bit of 'nicking' going on? Probably...disgusting!

I had in mind to buy my son a Schaefer knife. The catalogue was easy to read and found what I wanted quickly. But it was the add ons that made this gift extra special ie the gift wrapping, personal message on a card and the engraving on the blade. This made for a fabulous gift. And it was delivered on time for his birthday.

Just received delivery of a knife which cost almost £200, but there was no sharpening stone included, although there should have been. I telephoned the company but, ridiculously, they want me to send a photo of the item and of the invoice before they can send out a sharpening stone. What a load of rubbish. in these circumstances, I will send the whole thing back. Very disappointing despite all the hype on their website.

Received the incorrect bladed item, along with paperwork in the delivery stating, with a signature that the item for delivery had been checked. Also, the 'complimentary sharpening stone' was not in the order, and the 10% discount code which I'd received did not work in the online store... the blades are good, as far I I can discern... that's about it... not impressed.

I wanted a new pocket knife, I had been given a Buck Knife many moons ago when I first started in the oil and gas offshore industry, that knife lasted me from late 80’s until it got lost a couple of years ago, so I know how good these knives are, hence the reason I bought this new one, now being semi-retired and now opening up a green waste recycling company, I’ll have time to do a bit of whittling and other things, knowing I have a knife that will last my days out, I can Holey recommend a Buck knife to anybody, there is a style, type to fit anyone and they will last you a lifetime if you take care of it.
