"Personal GoTints Review"
I have had work done to not 1 but 2 vehicles. Both times the work carried was exceptional, factory finish on the alloys I had painted and the same with the windows I had tinted.
They go above beyond providing a rapid service.
Highly recommend GoTints

"Do not use this company."
Do not use this company.
They make promises, take your money and then don't do what they say.
The work was just about ok but I specifically said I needed a VAT invoice - which they said was no problem. Having chased them 5 times I've given up (and am therefore £80 out of pocket as I can't get the VAT back).

"Best in West Yorkshire!"
Go Tints offers a great range of high quality products along with a fantastic customer service. I have recently had work completed on my car by Go Tints, this included
•Refurbing diamond cut alloys
•Tinting rear car windows
•Repainting front bumper
The work was carried out within the time frame that was discussed and was done to a very high quality. I would deffinatley recommend Go Tints to anyone who is wanting this type of work to be carried out on their vehicles.

Took my silver audi wheels in for a full refurb, website guaranteed colour match ! however on arriving at reception, the guy at the desk permanently slumped in his seat with a lethargic demeanour half listening to my instructions told me they had to paint gloss black as could not guarantee a colour match! so i went with it regardless as two rims leaked. Turns out they just sprayed over the old balancing glue rather than clean the wheels properly. guy offered to fix the issue but i just did not want them to have my car for another 4 days.

"You must read this if your taking your car here for any type of paint spraying."
So I don’t normally leave reviews but I have to on this occasion as I feel so let down by this garage.
Back in 2019 my car went into Go Tints to initially have my wheels refurbished. After seeing the good reviews I felt like it was the right place to go. When I arrived Greg (great guy by the way) advised me of the process on refurbishing the wheels. We also discussed some other issues with my car, some stone chips and Some slight paint defects which could be rectified, and also my roof which could be repaired as someone had sat on it causing damage to it a few months previous, so quite a lot of work. My car went into them in September 2019 for the work to be carried out and after a few technical issues a new roof was fitted , my alloys were refurbished and the paint work sorted. I went to collect the car and the first thing I saw when I turned into the yard was the offside rear quarter panel a totally different colour shade to the rest of the car and it stood out like a sore thumb. The garage agreed it wasn’t right and agreed to re-paint it. I received a call to say it was ready once again so I went to collect it and yet again it still wasn’t the right colour. This was now going to be the third time of painting the car so I was getting very frustrated and annoyed that a seemingly professional company couldn’t match up the existing colour, but they assured me it would be made right. I received the call to say the car was ready once again so I went down to hopefully collect it. They said they struggled to match the paint colour so they had to spray the whole of both sides to match it all in. I looked at the car and finally it all looked one colour. I was annoyed that they had to paint more of the car than originally needed but by this point I didn’t care as it was finally one colour.. so I collected the car and home I went. A few days later I went into the boot to get something out and found the boot was literally full of water. The tyre monitoring system was nearly submerged. Luckily I had found it in time and managed to drain it using cups and towels. I took the car back advising them that the roof which was changed was leaking in somewhere. After a search they found the leak, the roof hadn’t been sealed properly so they fixed it, I returned to collect the car and and I left once again. This was now March 2020, six months after initially taking the car in. They did give me a courtesy car for the whole duration of time my car was in and the owner was very accommodating and helpful throughout this whole process and his main aim was for me to be happy with their work. After a few weeks or so of having my car back I washed my car and noticed that the lower half of the doors on both sides the paint finish was horrendous with a finish I can only describe as orange peel or like a satsuma skin… so much so it actually looks like a Matt finish. I felt so let down after all that I had gone through with trying to make the car look right. I felt that the car had been there for so long in my opinion they had just rushed the paint job just to get rid of it. It’s been around 18 months now since iv had the car back and in that time the paint work has deteriorated even further, the paint has started flaking off back to the primer and it looks worse than it did before it went in. (I don’t use high pressure washers either) and the lacquer on the wheels is peeling off too. I have been unable to afford to have the paint work rectified but I took it to a different garage this week to see if they can at least make it look better than it is for a reasonable cost. They have inspected the paint work and advised me that the paint work finish is of very low quality and is simply a rushed job. They told me that the paint on the car should be around a maximum of 198 microns in thickness, any thicker than that the paint may chip and flake off which he advised me that this may be what’s happening to my car. They used their paint gauge to test the thickness of the paint and found it to be 389 microns in thickness , he advised me that the car should have been sanded back and resprayed and not just sprayed over the top of the previous coat.
I feel that go tints are maybe great at tinting windows and vinyl wrapping etc as the reviews show, but when it comes to painting this is simply the worst experience i have ever had. The reviews seem to be about tinting but not many about paint work. I should have just bought a tin of spray from Halfords, I could have done a better job myself with that. I wouldn’t waste your time and money taking your car here for any sort of paint repairs EVER. (Pictures of the car are available to see on their google reviews)

"I would never take my vehicle here if i…"
I would never take my vehicle here if i knew, PLEASE AVOID, took over a week my wheels look different to the older ones, the cheek of it, when i asked him he said we refurb wheels not make them new, they bevelled the edges, i mean i have had so many wheels done in my life but never have they been bevelled, if they had told me before taking the job at least I could have made an informed choice. the red callipers look cheap and shoddy looks like they just slapped the paint on in a rush, and the tongue and cheek of their staff and them makes me regret ever taking the car up to them, if i could give them a minus star i would shoddy outlet

"AVOID! AVOID!! AVOID!!"
AVOID!! I urge you not to use this company. I had slight kerb damage to two of my diamond cut alloy wheels and they said they would make them look brand new as if there was never any damage at all and that they would look the same as the other two alloys. Charged me £150 cash and they said they would email receipt but never did. I complained to them about new scratches their machine has made on my alloys and the bevelled edge they have put in the edge of the rims. The rims are supposed to be black but they machined them out with a bevelled edge! They look so different to the other two alloys on my car! Really upset, gutted. They told me my car would be ready to pick up the next day but the next day came and I got a call saying I couldn’t collect for a further two days more! They have not offered to correct the damage they have caused or a refund! I had to put one star to do review but I wouldn’t have put any if I could! I now have to save to buy two brand new diamond cut alloy wheels. I’ve also complained to Ford as they recommended I went to Go Tints as they use them for refurbishments. If I was Ford I would not be recommending such a place. Please avoid, you are best buying new alloys.
Following added after reply of Go Tints:
I was not told end of week for receipt or five days. I was told like ‘new’ via telephone conversation on first contact and in person on delivery of car. Their machine created new marks and lines to my alloys too. I tried a smart repair on one small section of one of the two alloys not both and it was small. They knew a small part had a smart repair on one alloy before they started. Totally misleading me to believe like ‘new’.
