The solicitor, Alex, at the London Bridge branch, was so thoughtful in the way he dealt with a sensitive matter, and he worked very hard to get a good settlement for our daughter. He explained complicated matters very well, and he kept us regularly updated. He really provided an excellent service, and I would have no hesitation in using him again, or recommending him to others. He is a credit to the form.

the absence of acknowledgment or update on my case is both disheartening and unprofessional. As a client, I believe it is reasonable to expect timely communication and progress reports. It’s over two months I have not received any response to my emails or calls despite my clear state of anxiety and disappointment in lack of communication

No one is ever available. Very frustrating to say the least I feel they are keeping my funds with them to earn off the interest and pay themselves to do things I feel more than capable of doing myself. Crap company.

"Avoid at all costs"

Horrendous experience. Avoid at all costs. Used Anthony Gold to sell my property. In short: unprofessional, unresponsive, slow, lost my paperwork, exceptionally rude to my estate agents, and at points, me. Using Anthony Gold wasted weeks of my time, and cost me hundreds of pounds in unnecessary mortgage interest.

Was an easy sell, with a cash buyer. The first conveyancer assigned was exceptionally rude to my estate agent. They then went on sick leave and my case was ignored for weeks. I was not informed. Eventually assigned a second conveyancer who lost my paperwork, ignored my case for weeks on end (twice!), with the reasoning that they ‘were busy’. They also missed crucial paperwork which delayed the sale by another month.

After months of almost daily calls, I had to complain to ask for someone else. During my call to complain, I found out that the conveyancer in question was retiring that day: it was clear to me that there was no plan for a handover of my case, or any intention of letting me or my estate agents know.

The case was taken up by the head of the conveyancing team. The sale was moved along eventually, but not without me receiving an incorrect invoice. What should have taken 2 months took nearly 5.
