"Delay after delay"

A delay taking payment, a delay on the survey date, a broken promise that I would still have the report when it had originally been due. A week after the survey happened, and a full month after I tried first to book the survey, I still don't have my report. Avoid if you want a prompt service!!

I found this firm on the RICS register. First impressions extremely helpful, explained differences between Level 2 and Level 3 survey. Once we had agreed, the survey was carried out quite quickly. The report arrived via email within a few days. It was very thorough and easy to read and understand. I was extremely pleased and satisfied with the service IQS provided and would recommend them.

"Need a reliable level 3 survey and drone service"

Needed a reliable trustworthy level 3 building survey and a drone inspection on an old listed building I intend to buy. It was paramount that any/all building problems be identified to enable a cost repair so I could realistically apply for a mortgage for this property. IQS were prompt professional and efficient, talked to me in language I could understand and completed a thorough survey of this property. This also included a full drone survey identifying any problem areas with the roof all areas downloaded for verification of its condition I would without hesitation recommend this family business for a prompt professional and efficient service at very competitive prices.

Quick, easy and fair. IQS were true professionals to deal with and helped minimise the stress of buying my house. They even dealt with the estate agents and vendors themselves, saving me doing it! The whole process was done within a week and the L3 report was very easy to understand and high quality. Definitely recommend.

"Very quick to collect money"

Very quick to collect money, and say anything to get you. but failed to deliver on time, failed to address the survey with the appropriate qualified staff, staff on the phone have no idea what they sell or can deliver.
Never going to be using them again.

"STAY AWAY it's a scam"

We needed a Help To Buy survey to remortgage, and our financial advisor stated they use this firm "all the time" and recommended their surveying services. Survey was agreed upon but surveyor let us hang for one week because of a "family emergency", then conducted the survey only after we had paid £480. After one more week, we were told "oops it turns out you need a RCIS surveyor for Help to Buy and we are not" - should not our financial advisor and IQS "who do this all the time" know this? I was offered a refund, but asked to wait another week, in which the surveyor tried to get the report through anyway, he finally suggested another surveyor in the same company who would be available in another week... At this point I pulled the plug and demanded my refund. Have been waiting now for 2 days for the refund and still have to chase it up. All in all wasted 4 weeks for headache and nothing. Stay away from IQS. Will change mortgage advisor as well.
