"Very Good Bags"
We ordered small bags to use with our street childrens school in India. The bags arrived very quickly. I was able to use tbe bags straight from the packaging. When I have used other companies I have had to iron the bags before they are fit for use.
I would say that it was extremely expensive to have the bags printed so I ordered them plain and I will hand print them myself. This is not a problem as we have ordered them a long time in advance.

"Not as advertised"
I don't know anything about their other items or the quality of those, but DO NOT order anything personalised because what you receive will be low quality and the colours will be patchy. The bags' colours are not what was sent to me to sign off during the drafting/design process. Contacted them to be told that they used a lesser form of printing because I ordered a small amount and that I should have informed them that I wanted the colours to match more...is that not what I paid for? I was advised of another printing method they probably should have used and that they "would perhaps be able to gain more control over the colour if you were to order this print method from us in the future."...I will not be ordering from them in the future.

"Appalling, rude service, poor quality production and design"
"Clever" baggers is a huge misnomer. Never use this business. Trying to get a small simple order made with them has been a horrendous experience, made all the worse by the rude staff and inconsistent management. I've had to deal with over 10 members of staff including senior staff who are rude, condescending and unhelpful. More than 30 emails to get a small order printed, after the first order arrived incorrectly - they wouldn't refund the wrong order. Nightmare. Astounded that they are still in business.

"Poor experience"
This is a long review so I'm putting the most important bit at the top:
Now the big problem - the striped bags were of incredibly thin and poor quality cotton and, worst of all, had 'thecleverbagger.co.uk' printed on every side of the bag and both sides of the handles!!! It looked like promotional material and certainly something I couldn't give to my guests. I immediately emailed them and received a response from Sandra who told me she was sorry I didn't like them but that I could send them back (of course at my cost). I emailed back and said I already paid for shipping and this is a heavy package, I'm not going to pay for shipping them back when they're not as advertised (nowhere on the page did it mention the advertising on the bags). When I asked if it had been mentioned somewhere, Sandra claimed it was on the picture but on the cached version of the website I have it doesn't show it anywhere. It took her 2 days to respond and only after I emailed again and copied in the 'sales' email for her to arrange free return shipping. I mentioned that I still need bags and that I thought they owed me free shipping on another order which Sandra ignored in her email. When I emailed again to thank her for arranging the free return shipping, I mentioned again about providing free outward shipping on another order and again, no response. At that point I decided all the hassle, terrible customer service, and the poor quality of the first order meant I would take my business elsewhere.
To be fair, my credit has just come through and they did refund me for my whole order including the original shipping, however, this was never mentioned to me. It is a nice surprise though which is why I've given them 2 stars.
It seems others have had a good experience but mine just added unneeded extra stress and hassle.

I recently ordered some fun, striped bags for a wedding from them. The price was great, looked nice online and seemed like they would be perfect for welcome bags for the out of town guests.
The first issue was when they were showing 49 available online. I wanted to make sure (I needed 50) so I called and spoke to a lovely lady. She checked and said in fact there were only 49 so I asked if I could still get the price for 50 (it lowers the price by 0.02 - every pence counts when you're planning a wedding!). She said she'd check and then hung up on me by accident. I called back and got the same lady who was very nice and apologetic and said that if I placed the order right now online (why couldn't they do it over the phone?) then the 49 bags would go in at the lower price. I placed the order for 49 of those bags plus 1 bag in another color.
The order shipped the same day and I received it a few days later. I was impressed by the speed and excited to receive the bags. My excitement quickly faded when I opened them and found that in fact they only had 46 in store and they had added 3 red ones in addition to the other one I ordered. Ok, I guess things happen but they could have called me to let me know.
